There is no english version for this game. There is an english version for Ad Hoc Party, but it is only compatible with the PSP versions of games, and will not cross transfer with the japanese version of AHP.

@darklee69 Glad i could help bro! Yeah, MHP3 HD is a "remake" of the psp version. It's not remade really, just some parts are upgraded, Monsters and armor primarily look a lot better, more detailed but still you can tell it's a port. check out some of my vids on my channel, you'll see.
@bbulldragen1 dude i'm sorry i can't help you, everything is really self explanatory. only thing that may trip you up is starting a game with MHP3HD while in AHP, to do that just hit R2. @VengefulTorture super noob question time, sorry bro. I have adhoc party set up and working and all, but i realized most ppl would be playing mhp3 HD, and no longer just mhp3 on the psp. If im playing on my psp, can i connect to those playing on their ps3? if yes, what if im using a patched iso?
@sgamingr I've had worse thrown at me lol. No worries, MHP3 and MHP3HD are fluent with each other, even with a patched .iso (as that only affects your game text, not the signals or anything). You will be able to play with HD users no problem, i've even went online with my PSP and PS3 at the same time
@Nigel26ish Is it still a green screen with white characters? This is most likely the terms. You need to accept them, look for two options on the bottom, and select the left one i believe, you should go through a total of 5 pages (3 and then 2) if you can't move forward wait a sec then try to select forward again. Remember that O is accept and X is back.
If a black error screen pops up make sure your ethernet cable is plugged in properly, also look at your NAT type (main menu lower left).
Shut off/standby all other devices using the internet to seclude ps3
NAT type 2? (this will be displayed in the lower left of the screen in AHP
If everything up there is done correctly then it should work, if not there may be an issue with your modem or router, in which case i would recommend resetting it first, then try to plug your PS3's ethernet directly into your modem if you can.
@Nigel26ish ahhh glad to hear it! Yeah sometimes you can get some weird privileges going on with your router and whatever else is using it, also you may have had a port-forwarding issue with your computer on... but not that like that matters now that you know you can just game! So go - game!
Online is playing with others. If you want to play with others on MHP3 HD, you NEED Ad Hoc Party.
Main menu, last option is download. This will take you through a few "accept" screens (just hit O over and over). Then to 3 options - jinouga head, felyne head, and a scroll. The jin is quests (guild hall and challenge quests), felyne is companions and the last is info. You can navigate through all this pretty easily.

If you've ever played MH before the language barrier shouldn't present much of an issue except a few key areas: mostly skills. But there are plenty of translation sites to help you. Even if you haven't played MH before you pick up on things pretty quickly.
I have a question. Does anyone know when you upload your data from your psp, can you change your name? I know you could by uploading your data from previous MH games..
@nightshizumu2 I haven't tested this... but i'd assume that you can just sign on to that PSN and copy the data over there. It theoretically should work np. To copy your data go to your English PSN, then save data, psp/ps3 save data, triangle on your MHP3 data, then copy to an external hdd or flashdrive. Then go to your JPSN, and just copy it over in the save data.
My friend's list is pretty full and i'm currently pretty dang busy with college. Whenever i'm not playing a different game i usually hunt with just a few buddies. If i have room you can send me a friend invite - psn is the same as my YT name.

@mhduckman yes, i mentioned that in the video. You will need a wired connection for PSP online play. You cannot play without a wired connection because you need the wireless to connect to your PSP and the wired to connect to the internet.
Okay, and a few questions.. for the PSP version you do you need a wired to play on ad hoc? And the PS3 version you could use your own wireless internet and get on ad hoc, and play on the HD ver? This is something I been confused for a while.
For the PSP version YES you do need a direct connection. This is because the PS3 uses 2 connections at once. WIFI to pick up your PSP's ad hoc signal and then the ETHERNET to port it over the internet. It can't run both off of one source which is why you need to have a direct connection. Make sense?
For the PS3 version i can't tell you & be certain. It would make sense that you would only need any one connection, as you're not porting anything - stay tuned for more info as time passes

@fdfhhnh Well it is a smart move honestly. It allows those who can't afford to buy the PS3 version to still play with more people. Using AHP to play online will allow PSP and PS3 players to play together. Which is good for us because a lot of people won't be able to buy it, and have "imported" the PSP version. In this circumstance - it's actually a decent move.
@TheGhostX2 As far as the PSP titles for MH go, you don't need THIS ad hoc party. You can use the north american version of AHP to play online, but the NA version is honestly a lot worse. Only reason to use it is if you're looking for people to hunt with (sadly). If you have buddies on your friend's list, i recommend using the JAHP.

k, sry to be stupid but I've encountered a weird problem...
Everything works until I get onto ad-hoc party, where I select the first option and nothing happens.
I've tried everything, but I just keep getting a screen full of characters and one option, which does absolutely nothing.
I've got all the updates, well, at least the ones my system offers, and I did everything as per the video.
Again, sorry to be a pain, but I really have no clue whats going on...

Hey yeah, I got it working. It was pretty easy haha.
I just went to my save data utilities and copied the data to an another account on the PS3 and signed in on my JPN PSN with that account lol
