  • Phony 'boxing enthusiasts' like tapia-ass spew out their cluelessness on their ridiculous internet "boxing" sites which consist only of worship of their media-created god, Ali.

They also stink up yoututbe with their pathetic worship of their medicocre 'hero.'

Grovel for your 'god' Ali, tapia-ass.

  • Poor Oscar, he was sort of the gateway to the upper tier of boxing. If you couldn't beat Oscar you didn't deserve to be in contention for the Championship, but Oscar never won it himself.

  • @lochotoo And paid dearly in the 15th Round.

  • Ali had his place.. but was extremely too arrogant. Frazier besides being an excellent boxer and athlete.. was a gentleman.. through and through. Bonavena was just absolutely a monster.. that few wanted to f' with.

  • @veritas1031

tell me,how many gentlemen beat up women? I certainly wouldnt class that as gentlemanly behaviour - more like the actions of an insecure little thug.and frazier also had his place - as the third best heavyweight of his era, behind ali and foreman.

  • @tapiaassasin doesn't know that Frazier beat the hell out of Ali and knocked Ali flat on his back in the 15th round.

Members of The Religion of Ali like tapia are not allowed to know that.

  • @jwillardb is incapable of limiting himself to a single active account because of his own insecurities.Drop the posturing and grow a pair of fucking balls,Granberry, you worthless old faggot.

  • Member of the Religion of Ali @tapiaassasin reeks with HATE.

The mind numbed robots like tapia-ass who worship at the altar of The Religion of Ali demand that everyone grovel at the fake altar of their media-created fraud, Ali.

Spew out your insane Hate, tapia-ass.

  • @jwillardb merely proves tapiaassasin's assumptions about him right,in that he is a intellectually challenged, one dimensional troll that is incapable of holding down a reasonable discussion in relation to any boxing topic. He lacks the mental capacity, guts and boxing knowledge to do so - and anybody who is familiar with the twisted old fart's posts over the last couple of years will know this.

Keep trying,Granberry - but you're out of depth here, old man.

  • Fagboy @tapiaassasin proves the desperate condition of the mind numbed members of the pathetic Religion of Ali.

They become FRANTIC at the slightest mention that Joe Frazier knocked Ali flat on his back and beat Ali thoroughly.

Or that their god struggled with mediocre Ken Norton in three fights.

Or that the Ali they prostrate themselves for lost his title to a novice who only had 7 pro fights--Leon Spinks.

They make asses out of themselves as their grovel for their media-created fraud,Ali.

  • bonavena later worked as a security guard at the famous pussy ranch -mustang ranch in reno nevada. he started screwing conforte's old lady- so he got whacked right in the whore house. bonavena was a strong tough fighter- he was just too fucking dumb for his own good. hope he died with his boots on.

  • Not many people have heard of Bonavena but he was very tough.

  • Comment removed

  • @lochotoo yeah ,he could call ali a pussy while being tko'd by him! ha,ha,ha

  • RIP Joe :(

  • @lochotoo and u seen what happen to him when he did... And his name is Ali not no Clay, get it right son...

  • Frazier was in excelent shape for this fight. When he fought Ali and Foreman he already was a little overweight.

  • both are tough

  • You know it's not Ali in there because there is no copious hugging and holding and pulling by either opponent. No quarter taken or given. Ali's fights are boring. Frazier's fights were always exciting (except of course Ali-Frazier II where the ref let Ali mug Frazier all night long).

At least in Ali-Frazier III Padilla sort of prevented Ali from holding. And then when Frazier was blind Ali had a field day. But that Manilla fight damaged Ali more than Frazier.

  • @dropway9 Frazier was a better fighter than Ali. People forget that Frazier was legally blind in one eye and yet he never said anything about it publicly. In fact in the second Foreman fight, it was a close fight until a glancing punch by Foreman knocked the contact lenses out of Frazier's eye, and he couldn't see anymore and Foreman won by TKO. Frazier had learned from the first Foreman fight and would have won if he could see. It is amazing what Frazier achieved with one eye

  • AGUANTE BONAVENA

  • Bobavena.. he the man who call Clay a PUSSY

  • Black man beat the Brazilian guy.

  • @Beastie06

Bonavena was an argentine figther, not brazilian

  • Joe has pretty good right uppercut too.

  • el ringo peleo con los mejores del planeta !!

  • Bonovena, Quarry, Chuvalo, Lyle!

Damn! Even the 2nd and 3rd greatest boxers where great in the Golden Age! I take pity on any boxer trying to make it back then, you really had to the THE GREATEST.

Nowdays all you need is to duck people, beat a few bums and fight a few hasbeens and they're calling you P4P Greatest.

Mayweather Jr? Don't make me laugh!

  • @MrBumboclart Fuckin A, I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking this!

  • @MrBumboclart Spot on, the heavyweight division was deep in the 70,s contenders then would be heavyweight champs today!!!!!!

  • bonavena wud b champion of what?Klits wud ko him in a second, get real

  • @finetubs

Joe Fraizer probably hit harder than Klits he didnt knock him out.

  • @shadows987987

Keep dreaming. Frazier was a midget compared to the klits.

  • @BarrySlisk

Do you actually think punching power is all about size?

  • @shadows987987

Not ALL about size. But size sure helps. Or do you think that flyweights on average punches as hard as heavyweights?

  • @BarrySlisk

There is a mazzive difference between flyweight and heavyweight, not that large of a difference between Frazier and Klits. Frazier was a naturally gifted puncher, Klits get all the power he does have from his size.

  • @BarrySlisk he would kill both of them, especially wlad, joe would grin as wlad try to run when joe was on the inside

  • @messier991102

Anybody could get lucky with Wlad, due to his chin but a prime Vital would murder Frazier. In this fight joe looked like he had good stamina but a weak punch.

  • @BarrySlisk lol vit? hell no he ha questionable power and throws robotic punches, hes gonna have trouble hitting joe. frazier is one of the hardest hitters of all time. he is too actvie fro both kklits, neither have any inside game, frazier would murder both

  • @BarrySlisk your just gonna say "klits are too big for frazier. look what foreman did and they are bigger and more accurate". but neither klits hit as hard as foreman, and neither are as aggressive or have his syle. frazier is too much for both of them, too quick, too powerful and too relentless

  • @messier991102

I think Frazier was too small and not powerfull enough. Tyson although small, would annihilate both klits on the same day, in his prime. He was very fast, moved well and was very powerful, which made up for his small size.

Frazier had a similar style to Tyson, but was not as powerful.

Well, we'll just have to disagree.

  • @BarrySlisk what makes you think tyson could and frazier couldnt. frazier would be worse for the klits because he is a much better inside fighter than tyson. tyson was more of an explosive midrange fighter as opposed to a relentless swarmer. they have more differences than similarities. tyson although may be more powerful,he isnt as nonstop. frazier throws alot more punches than tyson does, and has alot more stamina. as well as working the body better, and is the better inside fighter.

  • @messier991102

Being a close range fighter when you are much smaller than your opponent, is that better than being a midrange fighter? Klits move well. Would they let a smaller, weaker opponent in close?

  • @BarrySlisk yes it would be better because they cant throw their pawing jabs at someone futher away from them (tyson) and cant when someone has their head in their midsection (frazier) klits move well? better than ali? hell no. frazier is to relentless for both klits

  • @BarrySlisk they would try not to let him in,but he would get in. they arent aggressive or as powerful as foreman, and they clinch in close, frazier would be pounding away at their ribs. and both klits arent gonna hit him cleanly enough to stop him. he is already 8 inches shorter so by him bobing and weaving he is about 11 inches shorter. neither klit would make it past 9. he is to busy for fighter who are used to fighting slow pace fightts. they wouldnt know what to do and panic.

  • @BarrySlisk klits are used to opponents coming straight in with no head movement or speed. andd they never versed an opponents as great as frazier. he throws like 3x more punches than both and with power to match. tyson would also kill the klits but not in the same fashion. they have no inside game to speak of and would panic and once joe gets them cornered they arent gonna last.

  • @messier991102

Power to match? how many times did he hit Oscar Bonavena on the chin? Nothing happened. Most of the hits were weak girly punches.

  • @BarrySlisk lol bonavena has one of the best chins, definetly better than both klits, you must not watch alot of frazieer fights, hits alot harder anybody tthe klits fought,

  • I think a Wladmir v Frazier fight would be one hell of a boring fight to watch, because when oppoents get too close he wraps them up with those big ass tree arms till break, and would muffle Frazier. and then would paw his face with those jabs as he tried to work his way back in, Frazier wasn't like Tyson who would move his head side to side but rather up and down and would be a much easier target to strike with a jab... Wlad would win on points in boring fashion against Frazier most likely.

  • @Kaous10

Yes Wlad hugs too much. That's why so many people hate him.

  • @Kaous10 i wouldnt say he was easier to hit with a kab than tyson was. he madde ali look foolish at points, and he hass the highest duck slip ratio in hw history. yes he got hit more than tyson but he also made his opponents miss more. plus joe is better at breaking out of the clinch than tyson is. but both are very different.

  • @messier991102 please can u tell me what mean duck slip ratio?

i know what mean "ratio" but duck slip?

    sorry im no english

  • @smokinlefthook how many punches he made the opponent missed while trying t hit him. he has the highest in hw history

  • @messier991102 ok thank u man, i didnt know that thank you man

  • @finetubs Klits is good, but he's no Frazier.

  • @finetubs klits fucking suck

  • There were so many good fighters back then.

Some of the second level fighters like Bonavena, would be champions today.

    RIP Bonavena.

    George Vreeland Hill

  • Frazier had fast hands and was a perpetual motion machine. It would have been interesting to see him at his best against Tyson. If Tyson didn't knock him out early Frazier would have the edge going into the later rounds. But what a clash of styles!

  • @dcspaced tyson wud ko him right away, like foreman, watching frazier i see lots of head butts and elbows too

  • Boxeo Argentino

    Oscar Bonavena

    Nicolino Locche

    Carlos Monzon

    Victor Galindez

    Horacio Accavallo

  • BONAVENA THE BEST!

    GO HURACÁN!

  • Este es el barrio el barrio de la Quema este es el barrio de ringo bonavena !!! Vamso el globo y oscar natalio Riingo Bonavena!!

  • Frazier a legnagyobb még Alit is kiütötte

  • Top box argentino

    1- Nicolino Loche

    2- Carlos Monzon

    3- Ringo Bonavena

  • 1- BONAVENA

    2- LOCHE

    3-MONZON

  • @hyperelo Flaco te falto Luis Firpo y Victor Galindez

  • Bonavena had a hell of a chin!

  • pf that body shot was a baby´s one haha...

  • Two Lions of the Ring!

  • Damn,Joe was tough!!!!!!!

  • Wow it looks like white Frazier vs black Frazier!

  • Body shot at precisely 6:00, a left by Frazier, one or the most terrifying I've ever seen. You can Ringo didn't like it either...

Read below where some one said 'this is what Tyson/Frazier would look like'

must disagree: Tyson/Frazier, with their bobbing styles, would end in a double DQ for head-butting!

  • @PorkFrog if you watch close, the shot didn't land very clean. but i was a hell of a punch!

  • The best era of HW ever . The men threw punches like LW do now and the HW today spend way too much time just looking for the shot.

  • name a realy great heavy weight of this era.

  • Ringo de la Quema, dale Ringo eterno, dale Globo

  • was this their 1st or 2d fight? Joe sure was pissed at the end. He had a lot of trobule with Bonavena's style, not to mention getting kd'd twice on 1 of their fights.

  • was this their 1st or 2d fight?

  • If Bonavena had better defense he would have been champion.

Actually, if he were fighting today he'd probably be champion!

  • Men like Ringo & Smokin´Joe... You can WALK the face of the planet, only to realise that you couldn´t find individuals like Frazier and Ringo. They were too tough. A time when "Heavywheight" ment HEAVY, with class, skill, technique, MENTAL TOUGHNESS. And you can´t train the last one of those qualities, right?

Fighters like Frazier were prepared to go down in the ring, down ´till the underground.

We have lost something these past decades. Become softer, weaker, more stupid...

  • @Roswellsounds That's because men or should i say boys are raised like women these days..

  • @Roswellsounds Fighters today are just as tough as fighters of yesterday. Watch guys like Gatti, Ward, Adamek (who has been fighting much bigger men than himself), Cotto, Baby Bull Diaz... the difference is the corners are smarter and the refs are smarter and know when a man is in danger. It's a sport dude. It ain't worth someone's life.

  • WHY is youtube cretin @Pizuzuzimmer so concerned about IQ's?

    LOL

  • I think Monzon is by far the best Argentine boxer to step into the ring, a top 10 middleweight, he would have been hell for the big name fighters of the 40s and 80s. Frazier was a tough guy though, both were cut, great fight and this is what Frazier vs Tyson would look like.

  • Check out Philadelphia club fighter ( Anthony Abbruzzese )

  • fue una victoria mas para frazier, una victoria moral para bonavena, que descanse en paz pobre.

  • Monzon without a doubt is the greatest Argentine boxer of all times and a top 20 great of all times.

  • He was handsome, and gave Ali a hard way to go. He had guts to step into the ring with Frazier, the man was just scary.

  • Bonavena was a great Argentine boxer but you might get some argument on whether or not he is the greatest.

You might want to consider Carlos Monzon, Horacio Accavallo and Luis "the Wild Bull of the Pampas" Firpo before you make your final call on who is the best Argentine fighter in history.

  • Que se puede esperar cuando el jurado es norteamericano . asi manejan el mundo

  • de lejos no le erraba una el gringo

  • how much better would frasier been if he threw the strait right hand / right cross before or after his left hooks probley would have knocked ali out in manila just doesnt throw them i dont understand

  • @littleahmet Ali CAN'T be knocked out stupid!

  • @bangitslo stupid thats a nice word did you learn that all by yourself

  • @bangitslo Are you serious? Frazier punched Ali so hard, he hit the mat.

  • ultra rugged? a sub-par ali knocked him onto queer street with a single left.

  • @Robstailey yo te voy a dar un single left

  • Bonavena win this fight

  • @mauroalpatacal no, joe frazier beat oscar bonavena in this fight, as well as the first fight.

  • el ringo fue sin duda el mas fuerte rival que tuvo frazier, antes de que este enfrentara a ali. nadie le dio las batallasque le dio el ringo.

  • Bonavena KO Frazier two times in 5 seconds, it's not easy to do that

  • Frazier was one of the greatest heavyweights of all time. The way he out-worked Oscar in these last two rounds shows this.

  • BONAVENA WAS ONE TOUGH GUY.

  • ktc34 have you read Frazier's autobiography? Frazier thought more of his fighting skills than you do. He said he was a good fighter and no matter what he did he couldn't knock Bonavena down. Second, Frazier also said about their first fight that the two punches that sent Frazier down hurt him very badly and after the second knockdown he was dazed and just held on to Bonavena throughout the round because he was scared of going down a third time. He did'nt even try to fight until the next round.

  • Hate these mauling brawling type fighters, not attractive to watch at all,....

  • @ktc34 except he knocked frazier down twice :|

  • knockdonw means nothing if u cant finish it and the other guy bashes u for all the remaining rounds

  • @strontvinger2001 Still to knock Joe down was a difficult task,But ultimately Joe won . Your point is well taken though!

  • what year was this 1

  • Was Bonavena joking when he put his hands up in victory!! what a joke, Frazier bashed him!!

  • fraizer lost their first fight in 66.

he got knocked down twice in round 2, 1more and it would have been over.

oscar got robbed like floyd cummings in 79.

  • Oscar was a good solid fighter but lacked proper managment and training skills. If he had a good manager and trained harder he would of been champion!

  • Aguante las epocas de estas peleas en los pesos pesados no como las de ahora que los pesos pesados son puros mediocres!!

  • de quien hablas vos ?

    De Mike Tyson !

  • he was the only white boxer who could fight at the same levels of negros....viva oscar bonavena, desde parque patricios te saludo!!!!!!!! there is a sculpture of him here, it is great!!!!!!!

  • chuvalo and quary could 2

  • Marciano, Chuvalo, Pep, Quarry, Calzaghe, Cooper, Bonavena..........there were loads.

  • Bugner

  • If Frazier had more than a left he would have finished of Bonavena quickly./

  • Bonavena fue formidable, no tuvo un buen entrenador, le falto un mas tecnica, y reventaba a cualquier oponente.

  • Damn, Frazier is good!

  • Man, there were a lot of good heavyweights during this era. I forgot about Bonavena and Chuvalo, who would've really been trouble for any of today's heavies. Heck, they were trouble for the best of their era.

  • damn right. frazier said hitting bonavena was like fighting a matador come refridgerator

  • they dont come any tougher than this duo

  • Agreed.

Oscar was a good slugger. He had a solid punch but he couldnt dent Joe.

Both guys were tired at the end. Frazier controlled the bout most of the way.

  • Bonavena el mejor!

  • Like Jerry Quarry, Oscar Bonavena could have been a champion in some eras, but neither stood a chance of being in the age of Ali, Frazier, and Foreman.

  • @1Tomrider aA Valid Point

  • @1Tomrider

bonavena tenia lo que ningun boxeador de esa epoca tenia... HUEVOS

  • @1Tomrider -- not quite sure. M. Ali was almost knocked down twice in the fight against Bonavena. A half degree of angle more straight and Bonavena had won by KO. Of course Ali was the greatest.

  • @clustergarde -bonavena was strong but what liston, shavers, foreman, frazier couldn do i dont think bonavena could do..ali was ahead on points aswell and then knocked him out.it was competitive tho

  • Esta fue la tercera defensa que hizo Joe Frazier de su corona antes de unificarla cóntra Jimmy Ellis.

  • In the early 50's he would have been champ for sure, but there's no such thing as a time machine.

  • Oscar B. might have been Champ, if he hadn't been injected with hot lead.

  • Never, especialy not in his era with guys like Ali,Frazier and Foreman around.

  • Watch Ali-Bonavena fight, Bonavena really troubled him alot.

  • Oscar Bonavena the '60's version of Mike Tyson complete with squeaky voice!

  • Except Tyson was teh champ at one point LOL

  • Fraizer said hitting Bonavena was like hitting a fridge... Oscar was never good enough. he was tough though

  • Bonavena gave every fighter a hard fight, he was only stopped by Ali and that wasn't easy

  • Que pelea Ringo. Siempre dejando todo.

    Un Fenomeno

  • Viva Ringo !!!

  • They dont make heavyweights like these guys anymore. Both of them are as tough as nails.

  • Joe threw a lot of low blows in this one. Joe and his corner all knew he lost this fight. He did not believe for a second he won. Oscar beat him fare and square but professional boxing is so fixed that it doesn't matter what we see or the outcome. I sometimes believe it is much like professional wrestling. They already know who the winner is.

  • When you look at Oscar you see Mike Tyson. A hard punching tough as nails fighter. Oscar had a shitty manager and trainer and he like to party a little to often. His life was a big party. If he trained well and had a better manager, he would of been a champion. Tyson had it but lost it.

  • Oscar Bonavena gave everyone he fought trouble because of the unique way he planted his feet and the way he used his chest and shoulders, like Randy Turpin. Oscar threw his punches in strange, short arks that you never saw coming. He roughhoused both Ali and Frazier, and even George Chuvalo, which tells you how strong Oscar really was. Yet, his arrogance, lack of commitment and turbulent private life led to him getting smoked outside a Nevada cathouse at just 34. He could have been something.

  • what happened jo did you run out of smoke? bonavena won,

  • Excelentes boxeadores, no como la mediocridad que se ve ahorita en los pesos pesados

  • Do you guys know that joe frazier didnt beat geroge forman. He didnt win the fight becomes of geroge foreman defense cross. Ali was no problem but he the movement to get away. Only 1 person beat him fair that foreman and ali

  • I would have to say Oscar Bonavena beat him fair and square but we had some extremely crooked judges that night who should of been banned from boxing after that one.

  • Germanpen that's a funny story, however it was attributed by Max Baer, while he was getting beat in the 1930's, a writer used it for Ringo.

  • Bonavena had a very good shoulder roll, especially for a heavyweight. you dont often see that kind of defense style in bigger guys.

    very underrated fighter, Bonavena.

  • Bonevena fought very defensively. He was awkward but he got beat pretty clearly by Frazier. By this time Joe had experiance and was able to bob and weave under Ringo`s punches.

  • the first fight[1966] Bonavena knocked Frazier down twice and could have won by a dec.. that should have been a draw i thought

  • Yeah I know he knocked him down. Frazier was only in his 12th fight at that time. Oscar had over 25 pro fights twice the experiance.

It couldve been a draw but more imporatantly that fight showed Frazier had heart and the ability to comeback after he was hurt.

You cant teach that. That is something Mike Tyson never could do.

  • Bonavena was though, but Frazier won clearly

  • que tipo guapo q era bonavena eh! esta pelea la gano el??alguien me lo puede contestar?
