Always knew Incubus could do this. It's the main reason I appreciate them as a band and as musicians. Commenting on previous "heated discussions" (putting it lightly): There is no way of saying one album was better than another. That's like saying one flavor of ice cream is better than another. It's purely individual. Incubus always have all 4 things I critique from music; Good melodic lines, rhythmic complexity, well written music (chord progressions, instrumentation, etc.), and good lyrics.

More than 5 records... touring still packing stadiums.... sticking to their word..... science is my favorite album by them... I happen to appreciate all their work... I can say that about 3 other bands... pearl jam .. chili peppers.. foo fighters... can you say elite? someone try to argue that

Incubus' music is very organic you can hear it in the music. All of their albums kick some serious ass both lyrically and musically.

Definitely disagree with Deft-ones. If you want a band that puts out the same sound with every new album, go listen to Nickleback. Part of what makes Incubus a worthwhile band is that they are ever-changing/ever-evolving. I don't think they have a "worst cd" because to try and qualify which CD was their "best" just shows that you would see them stick with a sound that makes you feel comfortable rather than continuing their forward trend.

It's a B-side as far a placement goes, but it was recorded in the fashion of an LP release when Mike had time in between semesters to record. It should have been on the greatest hits album, IMO. Easily one of their best songs - and I'm a Fungus Amongus-era fan.

Incubus was one of those groups who are able to grow and experience with sound, when people argue what they like better I think it's pretty cool that they were able to branch out the way they did.
