what is the best way to cook it without loosing its nutrition.. i see you have to cook it a lot.. doesnt that take all the nutrition and proteins out of it?
but 100 grams of quinoa is ALOT... people say it has a lot of protein but it doesnt hve more then couscous or any other thing.. that is so small
you can truly eat 100 gram of quinoa or any sort of small thing becuase when its cooked it BECOMES A LOT
unless you make it for different meals.. also these stuff is expensive atleast here i live.. its way more expensive then pasta which has fortified protien and more expensive then meat pr pound
IMPORTANT To maximize your nutritional intake from quinoa, as with all grains, nuts and legumes and especially if you are using it for holistic treatments, it needs to be soaked to reduce phytic acid. I can't seem to add links to websites but just Google it for the whys and hows.
@adamthrush Yep it is! Quinoa Gluten free supergrain! more americans should eat it, it would help with obesity crisis! Its to bad we live in a stubborn brainwashed society that lives on Gluten, dairy, sugar and pharmaceutical positions
@MrMasterpig - if you eat it directly from a remote plantation in the middle of nowhere, probably, otherwise soy is full of artificial stuff. Besides, no-one has really proved soy is safe, if eaten regularly it might actually contribute to cancer...peace :-)
@Snezhinka9 true, Soy wasn't eaten for thousands of years, only recently they started to commercialize this poison, it contains estrogen like hormones, which confuse the body and cause all kinds of illnesses, including cancer. Nonetheless, all diseases are curable with herbs tho dr.sebi.com greetings
@brightmannn actually, virtually all plants contain phytoestrogens... they are not unhealthy. And in fact, regarding soy, several studies have been shown linking it to LOWERING prostate & breast cancer. I have yet to come across any reputable scientific research affirming this largely held myth that moderate consumption of soy is an unhealthy food.
One of the closest foods to the lore and concept of Manna, the Incas revered it as a food of the gods...Had the Spanish Conquistadors been successful in eradicating it, I would likely be dead today. Quinoa helped save my life.

@MrMasterpig .... .Soy is not a food that is good for us to eat.
You have been lied to yet once again.
To compare soy to quinoa is like comparing white sugar to honey.
