  • human life is basically meaningless.Spirituality is a way of reconciling with the utter meaninglessness of life.We are nothing but the result of a random occurrence of nature.. Thus, the goal of every human being must be to maximize the resources available to him/her at any given point in time and the market mechanism allows us to do this.

  • @ansur996 When you wear red shaded sunglasses, you see the world as red, when you wear blue glasses, the world looks blue. Your thoughts, like the glasses, cover the surface of the world. When you put the 'meaningless' glasses on, the world looks meaningless. Your thoughts make you who you are, your thoughts transform the world. no matter if they are secular or spiritual. The chemist sees the processes of chemistry in the world, the businessman: the money to be made.

  • @rootoficculus Say we are just manifestations of an accidental evolutionary process... That would mean our very being would be born of, and tied within the creation of the planets and stars. We stand as the most intelligent and advanced manifestation of the universe. Man has evolved the ability to Reflect, a chance for the universe to look at and into itself. Nothing in nature exists in a vacuum. for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. You are part of the universe.

  • @rootoficculus Man's desires are infinite. He will never be fulfilled until he attains the infinite. But be yourself. We all learn from experience.

  • Great!

  • This is awesome.

  • THANKS FOR EVERYONE'S FEEDBACK. I suggest reading Aldous Huxley's book, The Perennial Philosophy and the writings of Swami Vivekananda. Aldous very much admired the great teacher of Vivekananda, Sri Ramakrishna. The essence of the teachings is called Vedanta. We cannot live on words alone, must must yearn to EXPERIENCE and PERCEIVE spiritual truths, not just fancy their intellectual taste. We must become as Christ-like, Buddha-like, Krishna-like as we can.

  • excuse, if i may ask, anyting to do with lsd?

  • VERY INTERSETING, U THE AUTHOR OF THE TEXT AUDIOSCRIPT?HOW U recorded it?

  • Perennial Philosophy: The material world is a shadow of a greater reality not directly perceivable by the physical senses (spiritual world).Human nature has both a material side subject to physical laws, birth and death, as well as a non-material immortal soul which is more essential because it is made in God's image.Humans can intuitively perceive the true multifaceted nature of ourselves and the greater reality if is isn't dormant. To wake it: making oneself pure of heart, devoid of pride envy

  • @phezmom1 (sorry, poor venue of communication) To wake intuitive perceptions of our true nature and the greater reality: Making oneself pure of heart, devoid of pride, envy, and lust, while appreciating, respecting and making good use of the traits we are "blessed" with, especially if they can benefit others. Not being materialistic, or basing our identity on our earthly possessions. (paraphrased from Bernard Haisch - "The Purpose Guided Universe: Believing in Einstein, Darwin and God")

  • I liked your video, but it didn't really explain the basic premise behind the Perennial Philosophy. I believe that this philosophy is one that is vital for all peoples and cultures to understand and hopefully embrace. In order for that to happen, perhaps more education and less poetry? (not that I dislike poetry...) The best explanation I have found is in Aldous Huxley and Bernard Haisch's writings. This is an imperative message for all of mankind!! We are all one tiny part of the Divine.

  • Love this! I have been working on a CD with all this type of work on it. Would you be interested in having this song as part of it? Enlightened/Spiritual/ with moving music behind it.
