  • Yeah, this does play as if it had been adapted from a play. Makes me hate the whole idea of plays.

  • I have the weirdest boner right now.

  • light does slow down when passing through a medium (eg. air, water). the statements made throughout the clip are true (at least, as Einstein points out, have never been disproven) in the fictional but useful concept of an ideal vacuum.

i'd quite like to catch this film; it is a very clever and well-written clip.

  • light never slows down?...what about black holes?? thought that captures light...therefor slowing it down....or am I just an idiot who doesn't understand this theory

  • @jongib369

the light doesn't slow down, it is just sucked in by the black holes infinite gravitational force.

  • This is a movie of the play 'Insignificance' which was written by Terry Johnson.

  • Sorry, that was @gemini12108

  • Loved this film. Saw it in London when it first came out. But despite The Professor's gentle nature and obvious superiority to The Ball Player and others in the play, in reality Einstein was just as much of a pig to women...and some extremely SMART women....as any other man was at the time. Poor Marilyn. Some say her insides were destroyed by childhood rape.

  • Right? U Ready? Here We Go :)))))

  • The actress makes me cringe. She's so awkward.

  • this mm impersonater sucks

  • @iwieeuue You know, that's a common mistake. The actress, Teresa Russel is quite good. You suck.

  • Such a rendez-vous of MM and Albert Einstein... some untold kind of magic in that scene for me... Thanx for performating it on Youtube... :)

  • Theresa Russell is a dream

  • Brilliant movie. And these are the two best performances in it.

  • this film is call insignificance

  • What movie is this?

  • this is available on DVD in Europe - are you guys in the US?

  • This is a wonderful scene ! And even better in context on the entire film from start to finish ! Thanks for posting. I have not been able to find it in 20 + years !!!! How do we start a campaign to get this released on DVD ? It really is a wonderful independent work.
