Less than 6 percent of home owners are in foreclosure, 94 percent still make payments weather they are upside down on their homes because of the large amounts they put down as down payments. Obama was a HUD lawyer. Bush deregulated nothing. The Republicans warned of this financial crisis and the Democrats claimed there was nothing wrong, probably cause they were profiting from it.

Whatever criticism some people have of Obama's policies, as someone who is out there in the trenches I can say Obama and the Democrats are improving things. The basis of our economy has been the real estate industry.
It didn't all of a sudden pop.
It first popped in the 90's.
This brought about credit swaps of default loans.
When loans are not repaid there is not only no true economy, there is no fiat economy.
There is nothing and no means to commodities.
Banks cannot cover there debt to the federal reserve...
