@DoctorRazzArea4 Absolutely amazing harmonica playing in this one. Alan Wilson, the recorded music that you left just keeps getting better and better.
@TheWembleymod It's on the Deluxe Edition of the remastered "Woodstock" that came out in 2009. It's on the separate bonus disc of unreleased performances.
Where oh where has the music gone? Music will never be played with as much passion as this ever again. Sorry if i sound a bit of a cynical bastard, but that's just the awful truth.
By the way, who would have thunk that Cheech Marin could play the bass?
could somebody PLEASE post leaving this town/ a change is gonna come? the last video got removed and the only version left is so crappy its unbelievable. i cant live without it.
This is awesome! I wish that I could be on woodstock :( I am 18 years old and I really hate nowadays commerical world full of lies and craps! At least I can listen to this awesome stuff while smokin a joint with friend :-) we are 18, we are long hair, we love nature and mainly 60's and early 70's music!!! This era will never come again :(
@JhanesMojo hey man im with you but i believe we can i believe we just need another one of these festifals haha. theres lots of people like you man just like me and all my friends. i think uhh shit doesnt seem like its there because its not promoted like it should be. i just try and stay positive. meet new people i dream theres gonna be another woodstock sort of thing. and were gonna have a new generation of hippies. i think we need to get off the computer and just protest peace love and freedom
@JhanesMojo if these could be more popular then sure and there are bands like the black keys, wolfmother or kasabian that plays good rock if that bands could be popular than it would be a better world :)
I'm like you and your Friend and I also have a Friend, which is like your Friend. :) And if there are some people like us, who have friends, which are like our friends - lets start the revolution, you know?
@JhanesMojo : It can happen when ever you want. The world was commercial, full of lies and there was plenty of shit music back in '69. You can go t more festivals like Woodstock more than ever. I think you are in love with the idea of being back then. If you want this sort of buzz go to a summer festival, get wrecked on booze and drugs (optional but preferential) go meet some strangers, talk shite for hours and bop your head to some new music you never heard before, no need for time machines :P
@metallicka007 : "New music is shit" That's a ridiculous statement. Yes, there's lots of shit music around but you think "all the music back in the 60's and 70's was great" It wasn't. There was shit music back then and there's really strong music survived so young people like us can listen to it. You have the internet and are exposed to so much great music at your finger tips. People are really capable of making beautiful and amazing music.
@metallicka007 Whoa man, the bands certainly haven't gotten any worse. It's just that the recording industry doesn't sign quality anymore. The Black Keys are just about the only great rock band today to make it big. Check out Witchcraft, Dead Meadow, Witch, Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats, Purson, Blood Ceremony, Jex Thoth, etc...all would have been huge back in the day. You just got to dig through and find the stuff.
@mihail1111 : Thanks, I don't understand him and I can't even comprehend what he's talking about?? Great way to open-dialogue with me there. Well, may be I don't but I believe I had those feelings when I was a teenager, then I matured and stopped living a fantasy of dreaming of a time gone by and started my own REALITY which is great! :D
@DieMenschMaschine85 Could do that but it would never really be the same. Because at a summer fest these days where everyone was smoking and drinking, there'd be fights and chaos. People just aren't as together today as they were back then. At least then when people got fucked up on drugs and booze they got too fucked up to fuck with each other. Nowadays, people turn into big dicks when they smoke or drink. The music is shitty today too. Were you even at Woodstock?
@JhanesMojo We should be friends. I am the same way. Love this kind of music, love that time period, love that culture. Wish I could've been there. And I'm only 15.
