Greetings! Another nice version of this is on a thin EDISON crediting the folks as Arthur Fields and his Assassinators...the copy I used to have was cracked and remains only on an old cassette tape.
@roybo1930 Hey beef! Thanks a milion! go check out the surprise i got in Sweet Liza! my latest. of course its from 1929 too! How come I'm stuck on that year lately?
@roybo1930 HAHA I think you've been nipping at that 20's hip flask again Beef! Must be nice to be the big butter and egg man over there at Roybo jazz records! Why dont you just buy the cotton club, stick a band like Vince Giordano in there and surround it with 20s cars and be done with it?!! it would be a sensation. :-)
@2reeler BOY WOULDENT THAT BE NICE!!! Witch gives Me a idia about holding a 1920s party in My garage or our new church building! Surrounding it with My 7 1920s cars as well as My friends cars from this era. Nouthing but period dress, music and attitude! CRAZY dancing and all sorts of FUN!
Awesome hot Jazz vid! Hey Biff, did you know that your jazz video is number one, most popular of all jazz records, at the nets big jazz site, 20sjazz .com?? Dude, you are the nets new King of Jazz!! I'm proud to be your friend! Congrats on your continued rise! Your "band box shuffle" just went solid gold! Check it out !!
How amazing ! I was just planning to upload a french Odéon 78's from this band : " Harmonica Harry " ( matrix N° 403.610 ), the other side features " T'aint No Sin " but has been unfortunately damaged !
@seerider45 Wonderful! Let's link the videos up together when you are done! Harmonica Harry was the sequel to Piccolo Pete! Taint no Sin is awesome! You have a great 78 there! Sorry it got damaged!
This so much fun! So many great songs are from 1929. I love the sugar babies (the handsome fellows at 0:33 lol), and the dancing at 2:40 and the special effects! You did such a GREAT job on this. The video fits the spirit of the music perfectly. Do it again, I like it! ;-)
J'ai eu le grand plaisir de voir des images de "So This Is Paris" de E.L sortie en 1926 un film que j'adore avec les premiers pas au cinéma de Myrna Loy .Je n'est pas pu m'empêche de rire et battre le temps ! Ah oui et : "This Sugar Babies!" .... "Not these Sugar Babies!" personnellement j'aime beaucoup se Charleston sur la plage ! La flute est bien fait aussi ! Quelle est le titre de présentation ? Sublime Grafonola à 0:49 et 3:02 ! ... I like it ... Sublime encore !!!! Merci .
