Majority of the people are too programmed to vote for him. They need to suffer really badly before they will wake up and start looking for options. As long as reps/dems keep the "out of sight, out of mind" policy, people is more than happy to go back to watching football and drinking beer.
i really like the idea of all of us libertarians moving to new hampshire to establish a libertarian haven. i'm not optimistic that it'll ever happen though.
they are doing quite well. the # of memebers is growing steadily. i think the goal is around 20,000 people. the current number as of Feb 07 is over 7,000. Thats progress.
almost everything in the main stream media presents the veiws just the 2 dominant political beliefs of america, micheal badnarik had practicall no base, no major establishment of public opinion and was out funded by both his apposing candidates. It is remarkable to see how many people would vote libertarian if they knew anything about it
Agreed. There's also the fear that voting for a third party candidate will act as a "spoiler," which is a big problem with our current system. I'd be interested to hear Badnarik's opinion on instant runoff voting and/or range voting, both of which have significant advantages over the current plurality system for popular elections.
^ok, you're on. Prove that you're smarter than me for starters. Your odds aren't so bad, though, about 1 in 250 (of course, that's if your historical/logical abilities are much higher than your posting would indicate).
In other news, great video. We need more like him, as opposed to these fake humans who don't address the issues or stick to their flimsy words. That's why I donated some of my scarce monetary resources to his campaign a while ago! Good luck, Badnarik!
I wish a lot more people would see beyond the two parties and research on other canadiates. Mr. Badnrik is a true patriot. I reccommend watch his consitutional videos if you haven't already. Thank you for your attention this matter.
Another 2004 supporter here! If you can't vote for Michael donate to his campaign. While he may be running in Texas you can bet he will act in the interest of EVERY American!
I donated to his campaign, and I'm in Massachusetts! :) I voted for him when he ran for President, too. We need him in political office. It's so easy to donate on his website, took under a minute to do.
"Apparently only 4% of voters in Texas-10 agree with this message. How sad." --
If he wants to win, he needs to move to NH. FreeStateProject*org

he is running against a democrat and a encumbent republican. the democrat has no chance to win but is staying in the race, which will screw this guy.
