almost everything in the main stream media presents the veiws just the 2 dominant political beliefs of america, micheal badnarik had practicall no base, no major establishment of public opinion and was out funded by both his apposing candidates. It is remarkable to see how many people would vote libertarian if they knew anything about it

Agreed. There's also the fear that voting for a third party candidate will act as a "spoiler," which is a big problem with our current system. I'd be interested to hear Badnarik's opinion on instant runoff voting and/or range voting, both of which have significant advantages over the current plurality system for popular elections.
