@blyndcyde1 I use the EQ block to reduce the "fizz" or "hiss" noise, beside Noise Gate block. I usually find this noise through a sweep in high frecuencies, boosting + 6 dBs of gain. When I find it, I sharpen the Q and I cut this frecuency.
@blyndcyde1 Yes I do. I use Dual Preamp Mode: one to the left and the same (with a little EQ variation) to the right, with 7 ms delay. All the FX in stereo (Ping Pong Delay, Chorus, Reverbs...). It sounds great.
Love the tone your getting through the pro. What output setting are you using for live use. I would think that your not using the cab sims in a live setting.

@mkauchi Thank You! I think that the GT-Pro amplifier simulations can be very improved, but sounds good. Now I got an Eleven Rack and I love its amps simulation. Sound really really good!. However, in terms of functionality, connectivity or MIDI implementation, GT-Pro is second to none: is the best by far, compared with Line6, Eleven Rack or even AXE FX.

I've been using a GP100 for years, I think it's time to upgrade now the 2nd hand prices have come down. A lot of folks moan about the standard/high gain sounds, but you make it sound good. Are you using it into the return of your amp's fx loop, or straight in the front end?
For live performances, I use the GT-Pro with a Mesa Boogie 50/50 power amp and one 4x12" speakers cabinet in stereo. For recording sessions, I use it directly to my PC via USB port, without microphones and with its cabinet simulation. It sounds quite good.

@TheLandelino Es un poco complejo porque trae muchos controles y parámetros, pero con un poco de paciencia se domina. Es más fácil usando el editor, desde el PC. Respecto a tu duda con los efectos, no entiendo exactamente que es lo que pretendes hacer. Saludos.

Exacto, lo único que puedes cambiar es el modelo de previo o amp, no puedes tener efectos distintos a la vez por cada canal. Pero puedes configurar los Assign para que se cambien los efectos o parámetros de estos al mismo tiempo que cambias de canal.

Básicamente son lo mismo, pero la GT-Pro trae ciertos "pluses" que son muy de agradecer. La principal, para mi, es la salida USB con tarjeta de sonido interna. Además trae 2 outputs independientes, 3 loops independientes y un montón de salidas más. En cuanto a sonidos, creo que la GT-Pro trae algunos efectos y simuladores más, pero vamos, que suenan muy similares. Lo del software viene muy bien para programar y guardar los presets, pero no influye en el sonido.
Apenas usé el GT-Pro con el Marshall en dos ocasiones. Este ampli se me rompió hace tiempo y desde entonces no suena bien. No me gusta como suena la GT-Pro a través de él. Al final me compré una etapa Mesa/Boogie de válvulas para el GT-Pro y una pantalla 4x12", y ahora suena como me gusta.

hey tremendo sonido, ando con ganas de comprarme un procesador multi efectos, y la verdad q estaba muy decidido por el digitech gsp1101 (aunque no soy muy fanatico de digitech pero el rack con la pedalera para controlarlo q trae me convencieron). Pero ahora q escucho el sonido en este video, me quedan mis dudas, yo siempre fui fanatico de boss y tengo el metal zone. Me podrias orientar un poco entre el digitech gsp1101 y este boss gt-pro?
Creo que no puedo ayudarte demasiado: no tengo el Digitech gsp1101. Sólo puedo decirte que el GT-Pro es duro, quiero decir, no es nada fácil sacar buenos sonidos. Tienes que saber manejar muy bien la sección de EQ, oír qué frecuencias son las que afectan más a tu sonido. Una vez que tengas la EQ definida, el resto es bien sencillo. Es muy completa, con unos FX de muy buena calidad, y si estás familiarizado con otros multiefectos de Boss, no creo que tengas problemas. Saludos.
@GTITime Muchas gracias! El sonido del 3:00 es prácticamente el mismo preset que uso durante todo el vídeo, sólo que bajé hasta casi el mínimo el Gain de la simulación de previo. Antes del previo lleva un poco de compresor y después del previo un poco de EQ, Delay Stereo, Chorus Stereo y un poco de Reverb. Puedo pasarte vía email una captura de pantalla del GT Manager para que veas mis ajustes con toda claridad. Un saludo.

@cibertito90 Cierto. De todos los modos de Output Select, el que más me gusta para usarlo con la etapa es el Small Amp. En teoría, el que debería usarse es el Stack Return, pero para sacar un sonido decente tenía que hacer recortes muy drásticos en la EQ de cada preset. Con el Small Amp no tengo que depender tanto de la EQ. Incluso algunos presets me valen para usarlos con ambos modos a la vez: por Main uso el modo Small Amp para mi backline y por Sub el modo Line/Headphones para monitores o PA.
suena chingonsisimo re bien man........como lo conectas a un amplificador de guitarra normal, por ejemplo al marshall que tienes en la foto, en ese caso que outputselect del gt pro usas?

Pasé a usarlo directamente con una etapa valvular Mesa/Boogie Fifty/Fifty stereo y desde entonces es lo que uso en directo. Para esta etapa uso SMALL AMP como Output select, y suena bastante bien.
@Mr0ro It's just a collection of sounds cut and pasted with Cubase. Perhaps the gaps come from the mix (I do not pay much attention, sorry!), or the stereo effect of the chorus, which gives a bit more volume. In live, I do not notice the gaps between changing presets. Anyway, thanks for your comment!
@rafamcm no, not your recording dude, its perfect how you have it. Im saying that I had this product to play live and tried it for a while. it has amazing sound but horrible gappings when changing effects even when the seamless option was turned on. you are playing good tho

Do you run left & right output to the left & right in on the Mesa then stereo to the cab? I have a gt 8 that I run similar to that setup.

too bad the gaps are horrid with that boss when you change effect. even if you set it up for it still is not seamless enough.
