I know I can't be the only one who felt the essence of Freddie in this piece and wept. How did they do that? It was as if they captured all the love and emotion they felt for their dear friend and put it in a track.

@bachinberry This started as an idea by David Richards. The sound at the start of 'Its a beautiful day' was put through a digital loop so that it played continously. The 'ahhh' choir sound is Freddie Mercury's voice, multi-layered, again put through a loop. Brian and Roger came along and put a few ideas down. There has been much conjecture about this track, but as ever, Brian and Roger remain silent about its meaning. Queen fans like to think it represents the years 1973 to 1995.
