I was in Afghanistan when that Corba footage was taken. (June of 2004) All three were killed and all three had weapons.

I've sen videos of people being unharmed even though a granade blew up 1 foot away from them. 2 guys on the right are def. unharmed. and the guy on the left might be unharmed also.

Assuming they are Taliban, it missed the two on the right it seems. With that kind of strafing, not sure if it even hit them. Bullets could of easily missed the guy by several inches. Too much dust in the way.

That "dust" is explosive debris. These are not bullets, each cloud of dust you see is not what is deadly. The explosion sends hundreds of pieces of shrapnel in every direction from EACH ONE of those dust clouds. If you are anywhere near those puffs, your done. If you are actually engulfed by one of those dust clouds, thats the heart of the shrapnel so you'll never know what hit you. A single 20mm HE round has a kill radius of 10 meters, The visual explosion is about 2 meters.

Since humans have been waging war, each side has sought for the latest technological enhancement to give them the edge, the better training, the larger number of troops. The point of war is to dish out more losses than you incur.

It is moronic to think that the US should disregard its advanced weaponry and expose its military to more losses than necessary.
