I love these books.

My favorite is Brilliance of the Moon. It is by far the best, the 5 battles, the pirates and Takeo finally gets his revenge and becomes the ruler of the three countries. I hope they make Brilliance of the moon an epic movie.

Taku is my favorite, He deserves to be the master of the tribes not Zenko.

The Serie was the best of all other books I've ever read, and I have read this serie about 10 times over, and now I'm on my eleventh run. But the last times I've started with the Prologue (About Shigeru's life) before reading the four other books.

i loved the books. They were great in describing the culture and landscapes of medieval Japan. The plot was strong , captivating and had many suprising twists.However, i would have liked the ending better if she had portrayed it directly instead of having it narrated by Makoto

I remember the first time I noticed this book, I actually picked up the 4th book at first cause I loved the cover and noticed that there was 3 books before that one.

One of the best discoveries I ever made.

If you love this book check out "Shike" by Robert Shea aswell.

When it comes to the movie, I dont think miss Lian will let noone ruin her masterpeice...hopefully =/

Just a little bit of constructive criticism. Could you slow down the slide show a little. I barely had time to look at each picture before it moved onto the next. But awesome images and it makes me thing that Tales of the Otori could seriously be done as an Anime.

ok, you know that otori takeo married shirakawa kaede. Now they have a 15-years-old daugther named as shigeku, and 13-years-old twin girls named as maya and miki. Takeo is the ruler of 3 countries and through muto kenji he controlls the tribe. But Arai zenko performs a big alliance against takeo, including The kikutas, in order to overthrow him for killing his father, Arai Daichi. That's all I can tell.

harsh cry of the heron was lengthy and very political but the end makes up for that with most of the action being there

she definately knows how to write a powerful and evocative story.
