  • Yeah dude, the essence of Blues run into your veins!!! :)

  • I love how you have combined the different elements of Canned Heat and also 9 Below Zero. Did you know that Canned Heat performed an alternate take on this song which is lighter and also has different words!! "Blind Owl" used to alter his harps as well!! Have been listening/playing this song since 1968 and hear something different every time. Keep on chooglin!!

  • Hi

I have released two videos to explain how to get that tuning in draw hole 6 that is so important for this song:

HOW TO GET THAT "ON THE ROAD AGAIN" SOUND

HOW TO RAISE PITCH IN DRAW HOLE 6

Both videos has to be studied before the adjustment of the tuning can be done properly.

    Best regards

    Håkan

  • Yeah, overblow or draw (windsaver) bend on 7. I'm not quick enough with overblows so I use windsaver bends instead.

There are quite some great fast lines in your play!

  • I don´t use overblow. The key note in this song I think is the raised pitch (a semi tone) in draw hole 6, at 2:38 for example.

  • ok thanks a lot.

  • oh it's so great, i like this version.

Can you give the harmonica partition of this song please because, i'm a new harmonica musician and i want become a great haronica musician

  • It's uploaded. Harmonica Lessons: On The Road Again.

  • fantastic
