    Hi,

I am interested in learning more about your uncle. What else did he invent? How about family history, did he marry anyone in particular interest, such as nobility? Anything you'd like to share would be great. Thanks! Patrick Leddy

  • Thanks for putting this up. That was me (Phil) in the clip!

It was a shame that for scheduling reasons the series was first shown at all sorts of different times and did not really get the publicity it deserved.

My friend Steve & myself also did the firework display that features in this episode.

We spent a great day filming this - a privilege to be involved.

  • Victorian Pharmacy is a brilliant BBC historical documentary series shown on television in the summer, now released on DVD. Ruth Goodman, Nick Barber and Tom Quick are excellent presenters. I think that a beard would suit Tom!

  • @GrahamLondonUK do you know of any other historical documentaries like this?

  • @moonmaidens Yes, Wendy, similar series are Tales From The Green Valley, Tudor Feast, Victorian Farm, Victorian Farm Christmas and Edwardian Farm, which is being shown currently on BBC2. All these series have video clips on YouTube and most are available on DVD.
