If I played 100 games heads up sit go with phil ivey Id probably win 5 to 10 of those turnys. Never would I beat tiger woods in a 100 games of golf. Oh ya im a golf pro that teaches at a golf course. Meaning to pass my test I had to shoot three games in a row at par. Now clearly there is a LUCK factor in poker not found in other games of skill.

The REAL skill in poker is choosing the "right" game to play, the right table to sit at, and the right SEAT in which to plant your butt. I make less than $40/hr at my "day job", but after work, most nights (sessions ranging from 3 to 8 hours) I profit somewhere between $25-$60 per hour -- and I'm only playing $3/6 or $4/8 limit (Omaha, mainly)... And the other night I turned $200 into $3000 in 4 hours (No Limit Omaha). Take that, "law degree" guy. Plus I have a clear conscience ;)
