Eh looks like a woman driver, no offense but women are notorious for doing other stuff while driving. As a cyclist, I'm always looking thru windshields and in rear views to see if the driver spots me, if they seem absent minded, I avoid / yeild to them, let them crash into some wall and not me imo.

I ride a motorcycle and idiots on 4 wheels are everywhere. Nobody looks out for you. Everybody's in a big fat hurry to kill you.....er....get where they're going. But they don't realize they COULD kill someone...just by the way they drive. If I'd been this guy (walking after hit) I probably would have done the exact same thing....yell @ the Ahole and "walk away" or wind up in jail from beating on the dumbass.

I am going through spinal decompression now because I was hit by a ( female ) here in Houston 5 months ago. According to her she was looking at her Garmin navigator in her car to see which road to take next. She destroyed the rear of my 73 VW beetle. Broke my motor mounts and major internal engine as well. I have a bulging disc in the lower back and a bone spur. ( MRI ) shows the bone spur to be a piece of my spine at the tailbone area to be broken off. I have an attorney and it's looking good

I am still walking, although with a cane for now. My sciatic nerve is the real pain. But financially I am going to be ok for a while. We already have had 1 court proceeding, and might have 3 or 4 more to go. But the lady was not intoxicated or on any drugs, just careless. Amazingly I dont have to have back surgery if I don't want it. The orthopedic doctor says that with 20 treatments of decompression most likely it will help re-align the disc and relieve the nerve pressure.

Sciatica can be debilitating, but my advice, if you're interested, avoid surgery. Pursue all other avenues for treatment before getting cut.

Hospitals and doctors are a potential serious health threat.

Bugs don't take rear-endings well. The motor/trans can break off completely and be driven into the backs of the passengers. Many were paralyzed back in the old days.

We should all feel grateful for our health.

Yeah my sciatica is making hard to simply wipe my own ass ( haha)., but I am now walking up and down stairs and stuff like that. The key is to do a lot of light stretching and heat and ice treatment . I had my very first ice bath at the hospital the day of the accident to reduce the swelling in my legs and general body all over. I nearly had a heart attack from that. BRRRRR !. My bug is toast, but her insurance is in the process of taking care of that. I'll get another classic.
