I recently started working on a website for my community and being new to all of this I decided to use a template from online. It had a very boring menu bar so I decided to make a new one in Fireworks and then add it to the template in Dreamweaver. That is where I ran into some trouble, I was able to add it in but none of the Rollover Behavior's seemed to work. I would really appreciate any help you can give me with this matter... Thanks alot! I'm having so many problems with this program that I want to scream. I've had images randomly disappear several times (no I didn't delete them, even ones I've completely left alone vanish, same with slices, sometimes all of my slices will suddenly be gone). It also keeps stretching the images so that they look really warped when I export. Anyone know how to solve these issues?

Anyhow your tutorial is good, just hope I can fix the bugs with this program.

hey adam i subscribed to you today and not without reason, u r cool! but my friend common library toolbar no 4 in this menu isnt supposed to work like this. Its just supposed to show One depressed button at a time...or so i think. I may be wrong..and i managed to get that effect..if u would like to see the finished product I can send you an email. What you did was slightly different but not what menu bar no 4 is supposed to do in my opinion...nevertheless you are fabulous!

When I am working with my index web page and add the menu bar from my files it just shows text as Menu bar 1" and if you click it then it will take you to the real menu bar which works fine....what am I doing wrong?? So around 8:00 he selects all the buttons and changes the fill, edges etc. but it is really pissing me off when i try to do this because i have to double click on each button to select it, and when i do this it like stops showing state 2 and goes back to state one. if i try to do it like that, then both states look the same. it seems to think state 2 is within state 1 or something. can anyone help????
