2:30 THE FUKING GUY HAS NO DICK!!! OMG ITS OLD GREG!!MANGINAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well EclecticAsylumArt, I don't know if you take time to answer questions about how you work, but I figure I may as well try asking anyway. How is it that without any block-in, envelope, or other rough laying in of shapes, you can transfer such a small image to such a large surface while keeping good proportion? When I do stuff anywhere near that big, I always need to start by blocking in the basic shapes an refining to maintain proper proportion...
Adam's got a mangina :) the thing i love about this picture/painting/chalk pavement drawing is the subliminal bit where the outline of god and the robey thing is a cross-section of a brain :D
I surely hope that these brilliant street artists also work on permanent supports; I hate to think of their talent only being preserved in photographs. It is too beautiful and inspiring for the original creations not to be preserved.
@MrRich9665 Women were appearently pulled from a rib( riiiiiight....) says religion, I'm not sure how much understanding there is in that either, none the less his belly-button shouldn't prevent anyone from appreciating art.
@chickaberga2 more like borrowin his brain :P everyone can draw if trained... so to train = lots and lots of practice.. watch his tutos if ure interested in drawing, worked fine to me
***Absolutely astonishing & creative! You quite obviously possess great artistic talent far & above the norm & average. I remember seeing your work on a TV segment a few years back, the name of the show however,I can't recall. Thank you for recording your efforts of your artistry,it took alot of your time to do so, & for sharing your beautiful craft with myself & the world. ~Carol: (A PippinPotter11 review)
Buon fresco technique consists of painting in pigment mixed with water on a thin layer of wet, fresh, lime mortar or plaster, for which the Italian word for plaster, intonaco, is used. Because of the chemical makeup of the plaster, a binder is not required, as the pigment mixed solely with the water will sink into the intonaco, which itself becomes the medium holding the pigment.
@DrewAnti1960 It's amazing work, was it done by EclecticAsylumArt? The Artist who posted the video?
This video has more hits than the actual videos of the interior of the chapel. That means something.
Can anyone help estimate how long the job took from start to finish, & can this type of income surpass middle class income? can anyone estimate an average salary per hr of this particular quality of craftsmanship? Do the tips payoff? Thanks to All for any opinions
@Isamod Yes, he can record himself while he creates his art, as he does. However, this does not give you concrete work which could be sold, as virtually all artists create for this very reason. Speaking of stupid, do people frequently have to explain the obvious to you?
beautiful work, and nice video/music, but.... what a waste...... doing something that big for that much time that will only last a few days. I hope someone paid him to draw that.
@MezupK Thanks for the update man. ever heard of mistakes? well! it turns out that im human and i make mistakes! so before you go around insulting people, i suggest you think a little more logically. it wont get you anywhere in life pal.
@Davinci117 did what better? paint (look who got all the commissions), sculpt? (look who got all the commissions), architecture? (look who got all the commissions). Da Vinci, for me, was a creator of all sorts, and painting and drawing was just one of those brilliant things that he did. Michelangelo is the true artist, however.
@LiMaoTang i do agree, what i meant to say was that michelangelo did do it better. This guy can draw and paint, but no one can replace a master work. and I also wasn't impressed with this guy either, he can create something like this and uses chalk on the sidewalk? I just kinda found it, insulting that he wasted his talent on this. i could understand if it was for a fundraiser for a company or an advertisment, but he is a known artist for doing this, and at the end of the day, his art is gone.
@Davinci117 omg.. i misunderstood u completely. u need to look around u more dude. although street art is temporary, people spend more time on the streets than they do in churches.... one question: if u thought that THE CREATION OF MAN!!! was by da Vinci, why is your name daVinci117? amazin ye? LOL
@StarSixtySeven67 MODESTY? This is ART. Let us leave modesty to those who are so brain washed by the religious bull shit that they would condemn nakedness as wrong and the human form as something sinful. There is nothing wrong or sinful about the human body it is only in the perverted attitudes of suppression, fear, and guilt that make it wrong and sinful. Free yourself of the bull shit of religious dogma and guilt and you will find beauty in all things.
@ilikeoptter Hey, now. No need to get a little worked up over it. I myself am an artist, and even I feel a little awkward drawing certain body parts as bare flesh. In my mind, I believe it'd feel even more awkward posting it up on an international website. If you're going to argue about it just being art, then let's go with that. It's just art. Everyone has their own way of depicting it, and there should be no reason for you to decide what he can and can't draw. He's an amazing artist anyway.
@StarSixtySeven67 I too am an artist and I believe in the integrity of art. Yes, this chalk artist is amazing but as an artist I don't think it is honest to modify such a renown work for the sake of modesty. I'm an adult and i can view and draw and sculpt the human genitalia without trepidation. As a child I was taught that their was nothing wrong with the naked human body. As a matter of fact it is in our nakedness that we find our common bond; our humanity. Maybe that's the message. Enjoy.
@ilikeoptter Good for you. But, as you can see, it's being enjoyed by thousands of people without that wonderful bit of knowledge. That's enough for me. If you can't enjoy someone's censored recreation of an amazing piece of work, then you shouldn't be criticizing him for something you probably can't do yourself.
@StarSixtySeven67 What is art but the expression of our perception of our understanding. We can choose to be honest or we can choose to be dishonest, that is the artist's choice. My beef with this artist is that he copied a masterwork and edited it. I don't believe he had the right to do that. If it was an original composition I could care less. This is a work known the world over. We don't have the right to impose the morals of our time on the past, especially when it comes to art.
@StarSixtySeven67 You are absolutely right, it isn't permanent (thank God) ,but I did very much enjoy our dialog. I hope you are having a good holiday and have Happy New Year.
I've commented this before, but I'm going to do so again. You have extraordinary talent. That you've managed to reproduce this famous image almost exactly - complete with various cracks and imperfections of the original work - blows my mind. So that's all great - But the best part and where I am most thankful is that you share this and other works with us. I used to think your Bette Davis and Mona Lisa were tops; but this one has triumphed. From an artist to an artist; kudos!
Unbelievable!! Sir you are a true genuine masterpiece artist. I have never seen such a drawing before, especially before my eyes, ESPECIALLY, on the sidewalk with chalk and pastels. AMAZING!! 5/5

Mate, you went to the trouble of putting in the cracks found in the plaster of the chapel but you left out adam's old fella? You shouldn't be afraid to offend. It's art.
never give up it takes the virtue of patience when i saw this i wanted to do better my drawings may not compare now but in a few years i could do this on paper. oh eah it took Michelangelo years because he used a techneeq that took longer but it lasted longer than chalk or paint.

Buon fresco technique consists of painting in pigment mixed with water on a thin layer of wet, fresh, lime mortar or plaster, for which the Italian word for plaster, intonaco, is used. Because of the chemical makeup of the plaster, a binder is not required, as the pigment mixed solely with the water will sink into the intonaco, which itself becomes the medium holding the pigment.

never give up it takes the virtue of patience when i saw this i wanted to do better my drawings may not compare now but in a few years i could do this on paper. oh eah it took Michelangelo years because he used a techneeq that took longer but it lasted longer than chalk or paint.
