The logic is flawed. The comparison of apostasy with treason confuses types. Apostasy is a type of religious experience. Treason is a type of political experience. In Islamic countries treason would be just as it is in other countries, involving actually selling state secrets, etc. Islam is not a state secret. No countries except Islamic ones kill people for abandoning religion or for promulgating new ones. Most countries in the world have FREEDOM OF RELIGION. Islam doesn't.

At the time of accepting this declaration faith clause There is no God other than Allah and Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) is His Messenger as mentioned above, He/she also knows that if they leave the religion Islam then they lose their life under apostate ground . Death for apostates is contrary to Article 18 of the Declaration of Human Rights adopted by the UN over 60 yrs ago. As members of the UN muslim nations are in violation of this article. It states: "Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance.".
This is a personal choice though.....one's choice of religion. Why has state tried to take control over a person's personal religion? It isn't the same as treason at all, unless the state is viewing a person as their property.

His analogy is illogical. If an army general in a war conducts treason then it would most likely directly or indirectly lead to the people of his country or his fellow soldiers being killed. Furthermore, that army general had a "choice" of whether he wants to join an army or choose a different career. When he made the choice of becoming an army general, he was well aware of the consequences of his actions and should be held accountable for the choices he makes.

Ali (4th caliph of islam to be) burned some people who apostasised. When this news reached Muhammad he said that ''do not punish someone with Allah's punishment, whoever changes his religion kill him''. Muhammad was fully aware that apostates were most capable of easily shaking up people's beliefs which is why he ordered the death penelty for apostates. Islam is the only religion which gives death penelty for apostasy.
This Hadith is not only Totally against the teachings of Quran but also is False in its statement. It says 2 Kill all those who change their religion - meaning to kill those who have accepted Islam as well. It is ridiculous & can NEVER be words of any man having even slightest wisdom. I'm just wondering how it is that in the West, Christians who leave, i.e apostasize from Christianity by converting to Islam or any other religion, are not killed by the state for being apostates from Christianity. Also, the vast majority of Christian parents have to just accept their child's decision to apostasize from Christianity. Yet in the Arab world, if you apostasize from Islam, it can be lethal. In Saudi Arabia you can be executed, even the Sufis agree, check "Reliance of the Traveller"

The logic is flawed. The comparison of apostasy with treason confuses types. Apostasy is a type of religious experience. Treason is a type of political experience. In Islamic countries treason would be just as it is in other countries, involving actually selling state secrets, etc. Islam is not a state secret. No countries except Islamic ones kill people for abandoning religion or for promulgating new ones. Most countries in the world have FREEDOM OF RELIGION. Islam doesn't.

What Zakir Naik doesn't seem to get is that if an army general discloses his army's secrets to another country, then LIVES ARE AT STAKE. THE COUNTRY'S NATIONAL SECURITY CAN BE COMPROMISED.

There is no logical reason to believe in any gods.
You do not need god to create the world as it exists.
You do not need god to construct a moral framework.
In fact, god needs faith, which directly opposes logic in all its forms. Without faith you can have a moral society, but faith makes it intrinsicly immoral.

His analogy is illogical. If an army general in a war conducts treason then it would most likely directly or indirectly lead to the people of his country or his fellow soldiers being killed. Furthermore, that army general had a "choice" of whether he wants to join an army or choose a different career. Ali (4th caliph of islam to be) burned some people who apostasised. When this news reached Muhammad he said that ''do not punish someone with Allah's punishment, whoever changes his religion kill him''. Muhammad was fully aware that apostates were most capable of easily shaking up people's beliefs which is why he ordered the death penelty for apostates. This Hadith is not only Totally against the teachings of Quran but also is False in its statement. It says 2 Kill all those who change their religion - meaning to kill those who have accepted Islam as well. It is ridiculous & can NEVER be words of any man having even slightest wisdom. Enemies' lives are spared if they convert to Islam (under pain of death) This too is COMPULSION

According to MY understanding of the Qur'ān, it offers no truth aside from what a person cares to make of it. Your citation is contradicted by the Qur'ān at 9:29 and 22:19-21, to cite two passages.
I believe it legitimate to ask why you remain a Muslim. What does it offer that you'd not find outside Islam?

Oh for pity's sake. Muslims tie themselves into such knots and take such circuitous routes to justify disgusting text that I must breathe hard just to read the effort. If such effort is required to make the Qur'ān come out all right, maybe it's pretty much all wrong. I read what the Qur'ān's 9:29 says. I also see art on museum walls, and I don't need critics to tell me why it is or isn't great. Any holy book that requires third-party explanation is surely not meant for all of humanity.

Since the pre-conditions explained in 22:39-40 does not exist therefore Fighting in the name of Religion is NO more permitted. This is the reason that Allah has send a Messiah in Islam to rectify the distorted understanding of Quran by Muslims & non-Muslims.

Treason endangers the constituents of the nation-state affected by the treason.
Apostasy is a change of mind. If one must fear reprisals for changing his beliefs, he is not free to say he's changed. If he is not free to say he's changed, he is not FREE, even to hold the beliefs he says he holds. One is not free to believe if he is not free to disbelieve. Belief requires choice, which requires freedom. So if a hell awaits unbelievers, it awaits those whose minds are not free, all Muslims.

bangfarang: Please correct your comments by changing the word Islam by Mullah's Islam. Because Islam-Ahmadiyya reject all sorts of compulsion in religion.
According to our understanding of Islam "There is No Compulsion in Religion" Al-Quran 2:256
In our understanding of Islam everyone is free to Accept or Reject (even after accepting) Islam. "And say: The truth is from your Lord, so let him who please believe, and let him who please disbelieve;" Al-Quran 18:29

2: He NEVER claimed to be GOD - It is Huge Lie of LIAR MULLAHS
3: All of his Prophecies come true (except those which were conditional)
4: All False Prophets destroyed as per Quran and only the true one survived & flourishing around the globe with Allah's help
5: The Prophet (saw) clearly told that "There will be NO prophet between me & Issa to come". Hadhrat Ahmad of Qadian is the same who was 2 come.
