  • @FissionNonStop Little kid? He said he listened to this in the 80s....

  • I had no idea KRAFTWERK did this jam. This was extremely hot in the roller rinks of New York. This was the real shit back in the early 1980's

  • MASTERPIECE of a tune, i love kraftwerk new wave synthpop, they were one of first to pioneeer this genre

  • Ok, this was the shit back in the day!! We were doing all kinds of poppin and locking to this tune! Yes sir! Big up to Kraftwerk and Dj MoJo for hipping us to this shit in Detroit MI.

  • I love how people discovers how the today's music was copied from old classics like Kraftwerk. Kraftwerk was light-years ahead of their time. It must be an interesting feeling to see the other people evolving to a point that you already were like 40 years ago.

  • These guys invented everything about electronic music... Hip hop / Techno / House / E;ectro- They're amazing!!!

  • This joint miXXXed with Planet Rock?!?!?!?! (gotta slow down #'s track!)

  • This song is like the ORIGINAL Industrial song!

  • si no me equivoco...este grupo alemán fue famoso en europa, estados unidos, américa latina, japón y australia.

  • Uhhh, negative on this song did not pre-date Hip hop. Hip Hop was already on the scene and this definitely didn't start the pop-lock generation. We were pop-locking, bugalooing and breaking in the late 70's and I have everything that Kraftwerk made and wasnt pop-locking to it, trust me. However, kraftwerk are the pioneers of techno today and i've been a fan since the mid 70's when Autobahn, Transeurope express and The Man Machine came out!

  • @dowjones702 hip hop was "sang" over disco beats prior to afrika bombaataa's sampling of kraftwerk, revolutionizing the whole rap/hiphop scene. and its even more prevalent today, rap/hiphop today is litte more than techno with voice-overs. and alot of the times they use the electronic voice synthesizer. give the white boys their due

  • OMG!!!! This was the JAMMMMMM!!!!!

  • this groove gave birth 2 the pop-lock generation... 4real...i'm damn'near 50...

  • are friends electric?

    yes kraftwerk yes

  • Just freaking Awesome ( The memories )

  • @librarygirl2009 yes they are.. @crtlnmd this pre-dates hip/hop by about 15years.. at least!

  • @figjam271 "this pre-dates hip/hop by about 15years" So this song was released in the early 1960's?!

  • HIP HOP AT IT'S BEST...

  • When I hear this I imagine frogs in lake with that Dj's their ass off xD

  • Hi, If you like Kraftwerk I invite you to listen to my songs on my channel

    Attentively

    Analog Von Lord

  • A large part of the sound from this song is missing,

  • This was my Bop back in the day. Battle anybody in break dancing back in the day off this song!!!!!!!!!! CLASSIC!!!!!

  • Years ahead of its time.... I remember '81 we bought a whole bunch of vinyl from B'klyn. We played this track in my Uncle's Saab. He called it Space Music - NO DOUBT-Peace to Bambaata and the Soul Sonic Force...Red Rooster

  • classic groundbreaking track..top lyrics too!!!

  • this is one song u could do any dance 2 back in da day we use 2 pop lock freak wave break jit dont forget da snake.shouts out 2 detroit westside oh i think the robot was made from these dudes songs real talk

  • Kraftwerk invented the "breakdance" rhythm and the use of drum machine to do that thing. Detriot sound is based on this.

  • whoa the original this was so advanced back in the day at the clubs u had to of been there this is so hot to dance to

  • weird... 0.-

  • word..

  • Gr8 song

  • Thanks to this song I know the German numbers.

  • xD eye kan kounted to twenty!!

  • Ich ni san chi ! haha japanese numbers ^^

  • 4/4 = pattern of music

    2*4 = beat

144 = pulse of rythm of this song and techno in general

12345678 = octal base numeric system.

    That's why there not 9 or 0...

At the end = the number combined of all numbers said in the song.

  • There is 0 in base 8.

  • But zero has no rhythm in synths patterns. I'm keyboardist.

  • That is probably very true, thank you for enlightening me.

  • At the last part of this song,I thought they kept counting up and up and up.

  • are they really robots ?

  • apparently

  • I don't think so

  • @librarygirl2009 Judging by your name, you're not kidding.

    Yes, Kraftwerk ARE robots.
