they are gothabilly/psychobilly because the to have a lot to do with each other and both have roots with the cramps. they both use a upright bass and have horror imagery incorperated into there music. it is defined by how fast the music is like alone is slow and creepy sounding but deadcat rumble is fast and more simaler to psychobilly.

I think the bass would sound better with steel strings as opposed to gut strings. He's doing a lot of slaps and since the strings are gut instead of steel the clicks aren't as noticeable. Personal preference only though, as I think he's quite a good bassist.
