I wish everyone on here who mentions "American Idol" could read this.

I like being able to enjoy the artists on youtube, and I'm in control of how I do that, in terms of selection, play, replay, etc.

I can then support them by downloading their music or buying their CDs, if available.

With "American Idol," I have to endure commercials and a cheesy show format where the music serves the show, instead of the show serving the music.
