@djtiesto69 yeah, when you crash its kinda like crashing on a motorcycle.. that is if your seat doesnt keep you in and the 300lbs kart lands on top of you. this is probably the MOST Dangerous kind of racing. but it is the most fun.

Thease "superkarts" have in some tracks beat'en Formula 2,

they go from 0-100 km/h in 2.8 sec

top speed with 240-250 km/h

Dijon; is a track with avarage speed of 170 km/h

Great racing. I would love to drive a Superkart. I race Karts in Chihuahua, Mexico, but there is no comparison with those incredible machines. Great battles there!

Well i have driven both. Super Karts have better power and acceration but without the wing they can't handle at all.They feel just like regular karts but faster

It looks more dangerous than it actually is. If you look at the facts in terms of injury rates - it is quite safe. Very unlikely to roll and the general environment is one of respect for competitors rather than biff and barge.

@mittong it might be rare, but when it happens its the most dangerous. its hard to flip them simply by sliding out but you come in contact with another kart or slide into the rocks and you could easily flip one. theres not a kart racer i personally know who hasnt flipped his kart. yes it is difficult and doesnt happen often but it does and when it does happen pray you get ejected from the seat and the kart doesnt land on you.

Yes we have them in Europe, see superkartdotorgdotuk/ for more info, Gearbox karts as they are known in the UK are 125CC, 210CC, 250CC(national),or like these run twin cylinder 250cc engines but 250 national is a more popular class mainly using the cr250 honda engines, they are also blindingley quick and so much fun, u gotta try it,

possible buy in Europe, in the US a fairly used one can run for 10,000-15,000. not much for their quality but when u think about all of the engine rebuilds and tire replacements it gets pricy.
