  • Hi, If you have some time to respond that would be really nice.

    thanks

  • Hi,

I have a pre 74 Fender Rhodes piano. Is there any other kit that can fit my piano keys? My yellowish and crackled keys are really ugly..

Can you recommend me what to do to change the keys aspect?

    many thanks

  • @djskp There are no key caps that will fit pre 74 keys, we are working on having some made, but won't be for a while, you will need to sand the keys starting at 220 and work your way up to 800 wet sanding, then buff on a wheel-

  • @rainydaypeepshow Hi there, thank you for the reply, but I'm afraid I did not really understand what you mean by "need to sand the keys starting at 220 and work your way up to 800".

Anyway thanks for helping me out! My keys are all very yellow and have crackles & some cigarette burns.

  • He's referring to the grit of the sandpaper

  • Awesome...I just ordered this from V V for my "new" '77 stage. All of your videos are extremely helpful. Continued success to you guys!

  • Does the kit includes black # notes too?

  • @fedejorge black notes are painted

  • Hi, our kit will work perfectly with your yamaha piano. The reason they do not work with pre 74 Fender Rhodes is it is a completly different key style.

  • Hi, do you know if your key cap kit would work on a Yamaha CP-80 electric piano? It has 88 wooden keys with plastic caps, but I know you say your kit will not suit pre-1974 Rhodes pianos - why is this?

  • Awesome! Your website is great and these videos are a fantastic extra!

    Thanks for posting!
