all right i have watched this whole thing and only question i have, is this: WHAT A FUCK IS EDGE DOING IN THIS MOVIE? take his pedals away and he cant play shit.. small disappointment but a great movie though

@Malinen13 I'm not a fan, but I can see what the director was going for. I mean Jack White is raw and gets ugly sometimes, Jimmy Page plays lyrically, and The Edge is admittedly very good at manipulating sound effects. These are three different approaches to the guitar and while Jack White's gets me off the most and Jimmy Page's fills me with eternal love, I can see where The Edge fits in even though he doesn't do anything for me.

@TheGenYgirl it makes sense if you put it like that :) It would have been great if they had replaced Edge with someone else, like for instance Billy Gibbons, now that would have been something epic in my opinion. But still great movie, thank you for uploading it to here!

@Malinen13 I really don't understand you, the whole concept of the movie, the whole thought behind it, the main-subject is creativity. it's not about what you can play or what you can't play, it's about the feel, the creativity, the emotion behind it. there are a whole bunch of songs he's written that have that element.

@Malinen13 duuuude i was soooo thinking the same thing, every time he opened his mouth i felt like shouting "shut ur mouth, let the other 2 talk", and the time he braggs about how he thought of this lame-ass chord and adds a shitload of effects to make it sound ok, i was like "GET OUTTA TOWN MAN!"

I just wish they'd get into the studio together. Possibly get John Paul Jones in for bass and Meg for drums with Jack as the frontman. An album with that line-up would be insane.

I'm surprised over how good a singer Jimmy actually is,or I don't know if he still is! But I mean, have you ever heard the song he did before Led Zep? It's called "She Just Satisfies". I think it's great!

@EccentricRichard I completely agree with you!! He definitely knows his stuff about music and I respect him as a talented musician but his voice is far too grating for me! Dave Grohl would've been great in it!

@PsycheLovesEros - he's not bad... he's no Bono but he's nothing like as bad as Jimmy! Somewhere I've heard a recording of Jimmy singing and it's PAINFUL. Listen to the song 'Seconds' on U2's War album - that's Edge singing. It's good. I find Jack White's voice grating and he seems so depressive. I'd have had Josh Homme or even Dave Grohl in this film instead. For me, Edge was the unexpected standout of this film, though Jimmy was as fascinating and erudite as ever.
