Additionally, taxes are the only reason citizens are using one specific currency. As long as people with guns will come and take your property or imprison you for not paying taxes with the specified currency you need that currency.

Another way to fight back is to live cheap. Our government taxes the higher income brackets higher than the lower ones. If more of the higher income earners joined the lower ones, our government would be starved of money.
This can be accomplished even if you make a high amount per hour, by working less hours (if possible).

Think of credit card interest. 5% interest can be paid off in no time compared to 25% or more. That's enslavement.
@cdowell1976, One of the reasons credit card interest is so high is because it is unsecured credit. At least, there is some value with a property, car or boat, etc. The banks feel they can repossess those tangible items and get some of their money back.
What makes you think there's value in houses, cars, & boats? They depreciate in value on a continuous basis. They only reach a minimum bottom line value that keeps them from going to a value of absolutely zero. For cars it's the materials & what's in the gear box that keeps that bottom line value. A rise in card interest rates aren't relegated only to unsecured cards. Folks who follow the rules are getting taken.

Another way to fight back is to live cheap. Our government taxes the higher income brackets higher than the lower ones. If more of the higher income earners joined the lower ones, our government would be starved of money.
This can be accomplished even if you make a high amount per hour, by working less hours (if possible).
A man making 20$ who works 4 hours a day is taxed the same as a man who makes 10$ who works 8 hours a day.

I have money in the banks . . . why would I want to bring them down? Another thing, a lot of people are not on the side of the people who foreclosed. They bought property at ridiculously high prices with NO down payment. In the past, they would have NEVER qualified for a mortgage. Unfortunately, there were too many people, who fell for the housing boom. People need an education in economics.

What is enslavement is the creation & regulation of the value of that currency. A shrewd banker once said: "give me the power to provide a nation's money supply & I care not who makes it's laws." Powerful words. If you can regulate the value then you can decide if a mortgage will take 30 yrs or longer to pay off. Think of credit card interest. 5% interest can be paid off in no time compared to 25% or more. That's enslavement.

What makes you think there's value in houses, cars, & boats? They depreciate in value on a continuous basis. They only reach a minimum bottom line value that keeps them from going to a value of absolutely zero. For cars it's the materials & what's in the gear box that keeps that bottom line value. A rise in card interest rates aren't relegated only to unsecured cards. Folks who follow the rules are getting taken.

Houses and autos may lose value, but at least the lender will get some of their money back with repossession. Keep in mind, no one is twisting anybody's arm to use a credit card. It's a reason not to go too crazy using them. Borrowers need to read the terms and fine print. The bottom line---credit card companies are in the business to make money.

Dude, the government does not loan money to banks. The bail out was nothing more than bank consolidation. The federal reserve bank loans money to the government not the other way around. The Fed basically bought out those banks that took bailout money from them.

Two things.
Zeitgeist addendum does in fact offer solutions. Fairly simple and obvious ones based on social patterns in the past.
Second, the government does NOT loan money to the banks. It is the exact opposite. The banks are private institutions which loan money at interest to the treasury of the united states.
The latter of my two inquiries tells me how effect any solution you have to offer might be.
