Septuagint, Vulgate, Luther's German Bible, King James Version, Revised Standard Version, New International Version, Jerusalem Bible are the ones I can recall from memory.

The Bible with authority is the Septuagint the translation of 70 hebrew scholars long befor the birth of Christ and this text has not changed all the others are only translations nothing more

@mosta29 Al-e-Omran-verse 45/ Jesus is the word of GOD. You believe the word of god is already established in heaven (eternal) and was sent down to take the shape of a book. The argument is then The word of GOD is sent down and takes the shape of a man. Christ is called the word of GOD. Same correlation

no man can get this title of "Word of God" and "Spirit of God." These are titles of God and calling an ordinary man "Word of God" and "Spirit of God amounts to blasphemy. When we look in the Bible we see that Jesus was called the "Word of God" in Bible too.
Word of God means very words of God that was spoken by God. God spoke and created heaven and earth. God spoke and mighty things happened.

People in this time had the words of GOD memorized. This is how they would recite the psalms because they werent numebred. They would just say the first line. Now with that you can see the proof

@mosta29 First off Jesus used the phrase SON OF MAN and COMING IN THE CLOUDS. WHEN JESUS CALLED HIMSELF THE SON OF MAN HE WAS CALLING HIMSELF THE FULLFILMENT OF PROPHECY. A PROPHECY ABOUT A COMMING MESSIAH FROM GOD. Then Coming in the clouds was a OLD TESTAMENT REFRENCE to GOD HAVING A SON IN THE OLD TESTAMENT. JESUS WAS NOT ONLY SAYING WHO HE WAS....HE WAS USING SCRIPTURE TO SHOW IT AS PROOF.

@mosta29 Jews knew he was speaking of heavenly things but they needed the romans to kill him. Jewish law stated blasphemers were to be stoned. But Jesus had so many followeres they wanted to avoid it. So they told the romans that Jesus was claiming to be a earthly king and thus was creating a potential for a jewish revolt.

Isaiah the prophet prophesied more than 700 years before the birth of Jesus Christ that God will give a sign as we read in Isaiah 7:14, "Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel."

@mosta29 The answer my friend is in the Old Testament. What you re having a hard time with you are looking at the answer to a question that you dont know. The reason You dont see how Jesus Said he was GOD, or how its possible for Christ to be the living word of God that was sent from GOD is because you havent read the jewish Torah. The OT is different in islam. Stories are changed and people are incorrectly placed.

Christ gave the title I AM to himself. Why is this important? In the Jewish scripture I AM is the name of GOD. Kaiphus, & sanhedrine new EXACTLY what he was saying. He ripped his robe (I sign of blasphemy) and called for the death penalty.

People did not believe he was a prophet because of the manner he carried himself. the fact is people converted to islam out of fear and becuase of jizya. This is fact. The bible was written by both the apostles and their desciples.
