Roy, I remember my dad (who passed away 14 years ago) singing and picking this song when I was a lttle boy. I haven't heard it on record for maybe 30 years. Thanks for posting it. You give us a heartfelt rendition, and I'm getting choked up listening as well. Jim

This is the song Hawkshaw Hawkins used to sing in the late 40's & 50's, I haven't been able to get it. I love this song. Thanks for putting this on. Good job!
