I was hoping to see the leopard on my visit yesterday - still in the maps the zoo hands out. I wondered where he'd got to. Now I know. Condolences to those who knew & cared for him. What a shame. :-(
Right decision was made I'm sure - be awful to let him suffer ..
I know it is difficult, but in most cases I prefer to let God be the one to make the final decision rather than euthanizing animals. So I am glad to hear that you tried to keep him going as long as possible.
And I respect your decision. It is clear from all your videos that all your staff really loves all the animals and is doing a wonderful job caring for them.
I'm so sorry about your loss! Cubba was a very handsome cat and I know that he would have had a happy life with you. All animals are happy at Adelaide Zoo!!!!
Oh that is sad that Cubba is gone, but I know you all did what you could. Things happen, he was a beautiful Persian Leopard, and he did live to a "ripe" old age
