she was beautiful linda evans. never saw a star prettier than her. she was gorgeous. alot of people crack me up when they say lionda evans wore wigs on dynasty. that was lindas own hair. joan wore te wigs . i saw linda evans and joan collins in boston about 6 years ago in legends, and after the show we waited outside the satge door. joan s a bitch! linda evans was great. she signed everybodys autograph and took pictures with everybody. joan collins didn't. the woman has no class.

I really like Alexis's gunmetal blouse and culottes. Krystle's all white outfit is saved by the interesting cut at the neck. In the beginning Alexis's clothes were chic but more off-the-rack looking. Later she became extremely dressy.

The look on Krystle's face when Alexis tried to ease her way out of the situation told her that Krystle was no one to be messed around with, as the fights later showed. You'd think Alexis would have learned her lessons, but that's what made it fun.

Ah, yes--the first confrontation. It got a little old down the line; basically the same scene in different outfits, but this was golden. Joan hadn't gotten her "look" together yet. This was so 1970's transexual. But, I kinda like it better. Later, the hair got shorter, the makeup better (less pale) and the clothes deluxe. But I have a fondness for the beginning, when Alexis looked, well..like a tramp. Or a man.

This show was THE classic of night time soap operas. They brought back 90210 and Melrose Place is next....why not bring this back? They'd have to scale down the opulence...but it could center around the grandchildren duking it out over their grandparents' oil empires...and Joan, Linda and Heather Locklear could do guest appearances. I think this could be an awesome idea. The grandkids could be just as messed up and bicthy as their predecessors! And of course their clothes would be flawless.

I agree ukroyalfamily (love that name, as i am English) we've basically turned the coin. in the 80's 80% of programmes were scripted dramas, with little to no reality shows. (now it's almost the complete opposite) a dynasty remake would be breath of fresh air, but we don't have many GOOD writers like Aaron Spelling these days.
