@bosaap10 I think some of those things are due to the fact that, out of all the East Asian nations, Japan was willing to tolerate Westernization the most back in the day. They simply were able to better adapt for the globalized future. We are just now starting to see the effects of China embracing capitalism. A good economy usually leads to better education or education oppurtunites outside of whatever county you're from. And of course, probably one of the most important aspects is culture.

@bosaap10 I think some of those things are due to the fact that, out of all the East Asian nations, Japan was willing to tolerate Westernization the most back in the day. They simply were able to better adapt for the globalized future. We are just now starting to see the effects of China embracing capitalism. A good economy usually leads to better education or education oppurtunites outside of whatever county you're from. And of course, probably one of the most important aspects is culture.

As a matter of fact, I've even gotten complements from people who ask where I obtained the jacket. Ha! Ha! The contrast of the copper/gold stitching looks amazing as do the longer pockets (which is atypical). I was fortunate enough to purchase the jacket from an Ebay seller in Australia years ago.
