To be honest, I've never pushed the volume past bedroom level due to the thin walls in my apartment, so I cant really comment on how loud it gets or if the speaker buzzes. I just use it for practicing every now and then.
@Maiden4eva1995 if you plug in an cabinet to it, thats what i do, because it sounds really bad once you crank it up to 7 - 8 i a room, basement, but if you crnk it to 10 out side man it sound awsome. if you want more power, go with a cabinet but if you just want to jam with a couple friwnds just play as is.
I think thats possible, but I dont want to steer you in the wrong direction. Like I said, I havent used pedals with this because it doesnt need it, and I can get a really good metal tone.
I havent really tried any pedals with this and I dont play any metalcore to be honest. You can get a good scooped metallica tone without pedals, if thats what you mean. But if your talking something like Korn's tone, I dont think this amp is for you.
Thats exactly what I use this amp for. I might pick up my guitar 1 time every other day for 15 mins or so, and put it back down. I dont gig or jam, I wouldnt even call this a hobby of mine.
You might be right, but so far its worked good for me and I think the tone is great. I would love to get a high quality amp, but I dont have the money and most of them are way overpriced.
it will work fine till you play something like a jcm and realise how crap the MG sounds. they make okay practise amps, but id never gig or jam with one.
Even better in person. The amp was barely opened up on this vid, my $99 Nikon cam could pick up the sound of a pin dropping. Little tip, keep the contour at 12 o'clock push the mids to about 2 o'clock for the amp to really come alive. You wont be dissappointed with this amp.
Wonderful. I love looking at the corns on your feet.

Sweet, what guitar do you have? I'm pretty sure I have the same or a similar guitar, and I also have the same amp.

god, seriously, worst amps ever.
overpriced, under toned, crap speakers.
give it about 5 weeks and youll be down the tech complaining that it sparked and shorted out.

what is this for a guitar?

Its an Ibanez SZ320. I put a dimarzio evo in the bridge. The guitar goes for about $300 brand new.
