it's not fake..

all you do is lend the phat then that person opens house options you return it and they still have it as long as they dont move - its a graphical copy so it gets deleted when you move.

this still works now

when he requests p hat back since they're in house options it doesnt get taken off of them until they exit it. so he has his p hat back and they have 1 on until they move.

it just stalls the partyhat from being taken away, so they basically dont have it but all 6 people he lent it to are in that stalling "mode" and they pretty much cant do anything but type or its gonna take them out of their stall

its not fake it was a glitch when the lending system came out, every1 has his phat but their is only 1 of it so its not like he gets all 7 back he only gets 1 when they log

The interface delayed the phat from deleting itself although it returned to it's owner. The reason Jagex doesn't have the lent item returning have a higher priority is because people would be able to exit cutscenes and stop system logs from happening because the priority would be higher.
