  • This was I think the very first time I tried a camera. And because of my lack of skills at the time I just used an old camera I didnt care too much about. Bad thing is it was kind of heavy. The camera I used was a Canon powershot A520, it's 4 mega pixels. The way I mounted it was I rubber banded some lightweight wood supports that rest across the top of the landing skids and I positioned and rubber banded the camera side-ways on the supports so the lens faced out to the left of the heli.

  • you can position a camera any way you like though but the best places are closest to the main rotor head where the lift is. If you put it way in the front or back, the helicopter will be pretty hard stabilize and fly.
