"Russia" is a FEDERATION of Republics (russian federation) - Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Chechnya, Ossetia, Ingushetia, Kalmykia, Dagestan e.t.c.
It is not ethnitical "russian" lands, there are turks, not slavs (russians).
