Its actually wonderful or - sute ki da ne - (isnt it wonderful) to see Kiroro and see them having fun. Its Nice. Im a big stupid english none understanding fan. The music and words and melody are lovelly even if I only just get the general gist of the meaning.
@flaffy15 The title of the song "Kaeru Basho" means "A place to return". The meaning of the lyrics is pretty simple: there is always a place to return to, your beautiful hometown, a place where you're not alone. In the specific they're talking about their Okinawan homeland, where the sky is wide and orange, the sound of waves is beatiful and it's plenty of wonderful small things.

I was an exchange student in Okinawa earlier this year, and my school played this song everyday during lunch break and before and after classes. :) We even learned it for Music class! My classmate told me that Kaeru Bashou had wonderful lyrics but she couldn't translate it for me.. so I'm glad to have found it here on YouTube, and with a translation too! Thank you so much!
The "place" in this song refers to "Okinawa", the homeland of Kiroro. This song was written by Kinjou Ayano (Pianist). It forms a twin song with "ikitekoso".
Really thank you for your translation, I want it for a long time (Really from this song release). Hope I can get the translation for the new song just release in May 2008 also. And hope all person who hear this song will like it.
You're most welcomed. If you (or anyone else)need any more translations for any of kiroro's songs, feel free to PM me!
Meanwhile, 幸せの種(shiawase no tane), "seeds of happiness" is currently available for online mp3 purchase only. I'd love to help to translate the song, but it seems that the Japanese lyrics have yet to be "officially" put up online [no results from google and yahoo japan searches] Should I get a copy of the Japanese lyrics I can start working on it right away... =)

*Sorry to see this request late. Here goes! *
Place to return to
Whenever I take a look around Warm smiles are always there
No matter the difficulty of the journey With our mutual support
We came through
The path that we've lived and walked through Surely It's a good experience
For us, at all times There's a place to return to
Let's soar high up in the sky Embrace hope
And flap our wings towards tomorrow

The dreams and sentiments are precious The days this place nurtured me
Because we've never forgotten We were always able to move forward
The sound from the waves of the tranquil flow
The orange coloured, gentle sky
We were never alone Our mighty land
The happiness here We won't part away We won't ever forget Till the end of time
For us, at all times There's a place to return to
Let's soar high up in the sky Embrace hope
And flap our wings towards tomorrow
