I'm a huge fan of Sony but I have to say I've owned a PSP for about 2-3 years and the games for their handhelds severely lack innovation or variety. They consist of sequels and I see very little of that on the DS, I mean besides Mario but that is their major franchise. Watching this video made me wanna get a DS and Link's Awakening on GBA reinvigorated my love for Nintendo handhelds.

do the graphics look better on the new china town grandtheft auto? i know the one for the psp and the old ds looked like shit fun game but all of the colors and characters just looked like blobs stuck togeather. were all those rpg turned based or were any of them hack and slashes? im not really into games were you just walk up to an enemy and your character just starts swinging. i like to be in control of my character thats the main reson i like hack and slashes.

Nice list. I should definitely chech out a few of those. 999 looks especiallially interesting. Some of my favorite DS games didn't actually release in the US (Soma Bringer, Tales of Innocence, Draglade 2, Luminous Arc 3, etc...) One game you should check out if you havent is Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier. The gameplay was uber fun and the diologue in the story is hilarious lol.

Pokemon Black made a blocky 3d city into one of the most epic experiences I've ever had. I've played every version since Red and Blue and my jaw dropped when I saw the scope of the giant city that you enter. I just saw massive buildings that towered out of the screen, and I thought to myself "This is unlike anything I've ever seen in Pokemon"

@gamereviewsss I know what it is. It's a mobile handheld that is irrelevant because I can emulate all of its games on my PC with better graphics :P. I want there to be a PSP emulator too, but sadly, it's not :(

i thought the best was golden sun dark dawn, what is better then a sequel to a game made 7 years ago, its 25-30 hours long, its fun, and addicting, my only problem was its easy and the extra bonus stuff only give about 3 hours of extra content after beating the game and u cant go back and redo that much stuff, but the extra bosses are fairly hard and the puzzles are fun, so i still enjoyed it

I just ordered radiant historia on amazon!! Anyway Dragon Quest 9 is one of the best games this gen for me. 50+ hours and still going strong post-game!

Wow, wow, wow, wow... The World Ends With You is my 10th best game lol You havent played anything. Miles Edgeworth sucks, Phoenix Wright is 10000000 times better, Dragon Quest IX beats the sh*t out of this list (No offence, great video). Mario Kart DS kicks half of these games, I dont like the PSP alot but you need to GET YOUR GAME UP!

You should get Crash Boom Bang. Its the only Crash Bandicoot game exclusive to DS witch is pretty cool, there is no dobt in my mind its a Mario Party rip off, but its a good one.

You should get the 3 Castlevania games on the DS. I only got Order of Ecclesia but that games rocks. And I heard Dawn of Sorrow and Portrait of Ruin are ever better.

I just ordered radiant historia on amazon!! Anyway Dragon Quest 9 is one of the best games this gen for me. 50+ hours and still going strong post-game!

But yeah, DS kicks every system's ass this gen, I actually play it more than my consoles. I like 999 but I personally think the storyline had WTF written all over it, you should check out Theresia, It's a better game IMHO but the story is pretty disturbing.

My one complaint about 999: I can't skip the puzzles I've already done. It gets annoying doing them over and over and over to get different endings.

@Collinguy6 yea that did kinda suck. when you just want the story you cant skip through it. but i didint find it that bad, becuase i liked knowing what to do throughout the puzzles on second run throuhgs. and finishing a puzzle that would take half hour, in 5 minutes :P

Wow, wow, wow, wow... The World Ends With You is my 10th best game lol You havent played anything. Miles Edgeworth sucks, Phoenix Wright is 10000000 times better, Dragon Quest IX beats the sh*t out of this list (No offence, great video). Mario Kart DS kicks half of these games, I dont like the PSP alot but you need to GET YOUR GAME UP!

@MazKiller1 .... lol not at all man. these are no doubt some of the best on the system for me. i have played mario kart... not as good as these games. havent played dragon quest 9 yet but thats one of the games i still need to get like i mentioned in the video. and i like more on the site detective games. so i loved miles edgeworth. but i still need to get some phoenix wright ones :(

You should get Crash Boom Bang. Its the only Crash Bandicoot game exclusive to DS witch is pretty cool, there is no dobt in my mind its a Mario Party rip off, but its a good one.

@BlooLegend the soundtrack for it is fantastic :P defintely better soundtrack. better battlesystem. hell yeah. in almost every way more strategy, difficult, all that. characters can go hand in hand. i like some better in chrono trigger, and some better in radiant historia. gaffa ftw. but hey it is opinino right. but i dont think anyone can argue the whole gameplay part of radiant historia and that. both masterpieces though. and gameplay is great in it... even if a most is developing story..

You should get the 3 Castlevania games on the DS. I only got Order of Ecclesia but that games rocks. And I heard Dawn of Sorrow and Portrait of Ruin are ever better.

Chinatown wars was amazing hope they make one for the 3ds it wuld be badasss and i played ghost trick okamidden and rhythm heaven for the ds (demo) and they were fun cant wait to get them
