I kno a disabled Corps vet that's bin gettin $700 a month for... psoriasis... which - btw- he admits was a misdiagnosis... it ended up being a rash.

That's $700 a month for the last 4.5 years = damn near $40k

Notice Sean Hannity dosn't say if Hedrick's disability is combat-related.

If you have the public option you will be screwed to. Because the waiting lists will be so long you will die before you get to see the doctor. I don't have insurance either but I don't expect all the other people to pay for my insurance. I will do it on my own, thank you. I would rather be without insurance then have the public option. Because now I know that if I get injured I can go to the hospital and they can't deny me fast service, with the public option, like Princess Di, waiting kills!

If you wish to spend 4 years in the crotch and serve in the Middle East, you too can get his public option this young man has earned, BUT, I wouldnt recommend it. The VA is a pretty good example of what a national medical program would look like. Only 100 times more crowded. Join a union or get a job that has a plan. I have been eligible for VA medical and I could have applied for a disability after 2 tours of Vietnam. Never considered it, their hospitals sucked

I have VA health care now (OIF Vet) and I totally agree! I cant stand going in there luckly I am in good health and only 24 years old. If I dod have a problem I would be goin through a private insurer.

Also, here is a real history lesson. The Nazis or the National Socialist German Workers Party werent liberals. The Socialist part referred to social welfare, not socialism. In fact when the SA tried to implement socialist policies, the? SS killed all of them. Also the Nazis are historically considered to be part of the far right, along with fascism; both Nazis and Fascists actively opposed liberalism.

His VA benefits were earned, not given just because he resides in the U.S.. There is a difference giving someone medical benefits because they got fucked up while serving their country, and giving medical benefits to someone who sits on their front stoop every day and says there is no work out there. On a different note if you think that government health care is so great look at how the V.A. is run and ask a vet if he is satisfied with his/her care after going and fighting for his country.

If you think government health care is so great ask Canadians why they come here.

Actually they are mostly coming here to the USA from Canada, because the system is imploding and the waits are very long for essentially anything and the various European countries are gradually moving away from the social welfare system. It just doesn't work.

Aside from specialized medicine for which there is always a wait (but then again, the urgency of your disease is taken into account), you can get medical care in less then a week. I'm not talking about the emergency here, which you can access immediately at anytime, which ever your solvability is.
