  • Jizzzz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Dear Santa...

I REeeaalllyyyy need a new pair of shorts.

  • I jizzed at the :10 mark

  • YES !!! Thumbs up..

  • My Dad saw a P51 over Clapham wood's as a kid in about 1943-44. He said it cut out so the pilot roll's upside down and bail's out ( his chute opened he float's safely down), the P51 roll's it's self back the right way up, start's up again and fly's off on it's own. I alway's thought they were fuel injected? or did they have the merlin lump?

  • Wow, whats with all the arguing over America and Britain's parts in the war? I'm pretty sure when troops or pilots from either side got together back then they got along fine. I'm pretty sure they didn't worry about which country scored more kills. Why do you? I think they just wanted to get the damned war over with.

  • Awesome..!!

  • Don't you just love the roar of the Merlin?

  • Shipley is one of the best in the game. Love Sean D. Tucker sitting there with a front row seat!

  • O that sounds so good!

  • yes like all P51's it has the aaahhhhh factor !!!!

  • Man i love those planes fken godly things mustang damn!

  • 20 sec of ahhhhhhh

  • @christianbikes You mean 20 sec of ahhhhhrgasm! finish the sentence! :D

  • ah ok

  • Cutting the grass BABY!

  • Well...I'll be damned...i checked some rescorces and found indeed you are correct sir...Personally i would rather have the greater gun package and better field of view afforded by the D model in a combat situation. By the time any of these models made it to the war they were all far superior to the axis aircraft....unless it was a 109F4 flown by Erich Hartmann. :-)

  • I agree with you, Happyguy2300. The D did have better visibility and firepower than the B or C (only difference between those was B made in Inglewood, CA and C made in the Dallas plant). Yes, as you insinuated, a great pilot such as Hartmann was a force to be reckoned with, such that it took more than just the aircraft type sometimes, to determine the winner of a dog fight.

  • Erich Hartmann made his name off of Soviet Aircraft, not American. He registered 7 kills on American Aircraft. The other 345 or whatever were Russian.

  • @Chopin742 pretty hard to shoot down americans when you are in russia!

  • @pramboy09-I think there were a few on Korean Air 007.

  • @Chopin742

Top US ace - 40 - versus lightly armored Japanese aircraft in the Pacific

Top Russian Ace - 62 - on the Eastern Front, versus the likes of Hartmann LOL

Top Japanese Ace - 87 - versus Americans LOL

Top German Ace - 352 - on the Eastern Front. Includes a BUNCH of kills on US planes, Mustangs, Airacobras, Bostons etc

Don't forget, Hartmann flew over 1,400 sorties ... how many did Bong fly? Less than 40?

Hartmann also got 4 Mustang kills in one sortie ... good pilots those Yanks LOL

  • @GodStink

Of course the Americans had fewer kills. The Americans didn't start as early nor did the pilots have to keep flying till they were killed or the war was over. Besides, the Americans ran out of targets.

Also, seems one thing you foreigners (mostly Brits) can't seem to figure out. Being an American from the US doen't mean a person is a Yank. Excuse me while i spit.

  • @Vexina

So you're admitting that the war was mostly over by the time the US got involved? Interesting, you Yanks usually claim you won the war single-handedly!

And yes we know that being from the US technically, doesn't make you a Yank but it annoys all of you so we continue to do it.

  • @GodStink American pilots didn't fly as many sorties, so how could they have scored a high kill rating? They fought in groups and had no room for personal heroism. The jap ace's scores consisted of Chinese and out dated English and U.S. planes. The U.S. was at a great disadvantage due to heavy-slow Hell Divers, against easy to fly Zeros. The krauts claimed victories on antiquated Polish, Russian, and heavy bombers which were sitting ducks.

  • @acfinney What's your point?

That total kills, average kills per sortie etc are not valid ways of identifying elite combat pilots?

Personally, I'd take the heavily armored US aircraft over a Zero anytime.

You need to check your info on the kills that the likes of Sakai made - Pacific theater = lots of yanks, and not "out dated" aircraft either.

Neither Hartmann nor Sakai EVER lost a wingman!

Re sitting ducks - IL2's were notoriously tough. Hartmann knocked down a bunch.

    Check facts then post.

  • @GodStink

If someday you grasp the concept of honesty, try using it.

I didn't say the war was most of way over by the time the US entered it. The Americans switched from sending supplies to doing the fighting for ourselves because we saw you could NOT handle it. You fail yet again on the "Yank" subject. Yanks do not mind about being called Yanks. Just us that are not. I know this reply is pointless though as you made clear that facts and honesty are irrelevant to you and "your kind".

  • @Vexina

"The Americans didn't start as early" = the war was mostly over and "you could NOT handle it" = we won single-handedly (standard Yank claim) ... which is bull.

Hitler stuffed it by fighting on two fronts and after the Battle of Britain, the end was inevitable for the Third Reich - a matter of time.

I see calling you a Yank still annoys you regardless of where you're from (not being an ignorant American, I know a lot about history outside my own country) so I use Yank simply to annoy :D

  • @GodStink

nobody won WWII single handed. anyone that says anyone did is either ignorant or a liar. every country has their share of such people. also their share of people that even when they find they were ignorant of some bit of information will then say they do it to annoy other people. when a person intentionally annoys someone "in person" they are a bully.. that is, if somebody doesn't crush them.

Good to know you now see your error about "Yanks" though. I'll consider my job done there.

  • @Vexina

Oh but YOU say the UK "couldn't handle" it?

Annoying people intentionally isn't bullying. Call it baiting - I think in your case, the troll is well and truly baited. Your feeble attempts at wriggling off the hook (I'm "a bully" or that someone will "crush" me) is amusing. Thanks, haven't had this much fun on the interweb since the last time someone tried to claim the Yanks won the war on their own and saved our asses.

  • @Vexina

PS the French want to say FUCK YOU for bombing the shit out of the French countryside & cities. Next time, aim at Germany.

  • @GodStink

I haven't named any Euro countries... as with other things you put my name to.

At least you've admitted your posts are all bull.

Someday, try constructive conversation. You might find friends in the world rather than being afraid everyone is out to get you.

I'm putting you on my "boring" list... which means you've lost your chance to make friends with me. goodbye

  • @Vexina

Indeed, no - you assumed I was English and said that "YOU could not handle it" so either you think I alive in the 40's, fighting the European war on my own (!) or you're implying that my country couldn't handle it - given that the primary opponent in Europe of Germany was the UK, ergo, you mean the UK.

Constructive conversation is not back-slapping each other over how the Yanks won the war in Europe by themselves and agreeing with your delusions about history.

  • @Vexina

And ... I admit I use Yanks with full knowledge that it annoys, nothing more.

If you can't take being called out for posting ridiculous non-facts (and YOU have an over-inflated sense of self-worth and can't handle being teased) then I suggest you do a bit of reading first.

All my friends have grown up and developed thicker skin than that ;)

  • @Vexina Look at what happens when america tries a war without UK, namely Vietnam - now shut up you silly man.

  • @happyguy2300 what about the fw-190 D or the Ta-152? both were superior to any me-109 mk.

  • fantastastic sound!!!

  • Cadillac of the sky!

  • That Mustang was the the P-51D model with the Rolls Royce Merlin engine...as opposed to the B model with the allison...The D was much faster at high alt. but the B model faster on the deck. Both were very respectable fighters with different characteristics and attributes. Salute to the men who flew them in the name of freedom!

  • Actually it was the P-51A mustang that had the Allison, the p51b, had a rolls Royce Packard made Merlin, just slightly less powerful than the D models. However the p51b mustang had a higher speed than the D because the d had extra features that added drag, bubble canopy, thicker wings, extra guns. The p51b had a bird cage stile canopy, which blended in with the fuselage, two less guns, thinner wings, therefore, the p51b had a top speed of 441mph at 25,000ft, the D, 437 same altitude.

  • !!!Maldito maravilloso bastardo, eres el mejor caza del mundo!!!!!

  • I like how the dive wistle was on. That sounds realy cool.

  • that wasn't the dive wistle. it was the variable pitch from the prop that gives that sound.

  • P-51&Sean D taxi.cool

  • AWESOME!

  • When Rolls Royce were developing the Merlin testing included running the engine at full power and at full boost with the supercharger on for an hour. Apparently 0.010 thousandths of an inch was worn off the crank shaft. That's about 1/4 mm in metric. Doesn't sound like very much but it wouldn't take much to make for make a rattly engine!

  • i love that sound!

  • the mustang is a beautiful plane. this is avery nice video of a fly by. cool stuff!

  • Great power and noise.

  • This was Pete's airplane I think.....also flying our of Arlington. I pulled 4 or so g's in the pullup. Am not certain how many events he filmed, but think this was the correct one.

  • favorite plane right there

  • Comment removed

  • Actually the Merlin engine in P51's were made under license by Packard. RAF aircraft using the Merlin were made by Rolls Royce :)

  • The sound of a MUSTANG brought fear to the axis!!

  • Not that the messerschmitt sounded reassuring...

    ;)

  • Messerschmidt sounded pretty good too, but the Merlin had no match.

  • GREAT VIDEO!!!! Brilliant sound as well

  • Nothing else quite like the sound of a Merlin.

  • NICELY FLOWN!! Perfect - smoothly down on the deck, nice consistent pull, establish the up line and then a crisp roll. Sweet.

  • ONCE BEFORE I DIE!!!!

  • Nothing like a low, fast Mustang with the power on.......!!!!!!!

  • i love the sound of that engine roar!!!!!

  • Any lower and he would have hit the taxi way markers =P great post

  • is that "Wee Willy" from Planes of Fame?

  • yes it is .steve hinton owns that beautiful piece of work.

  • DAMN! I got a hardon that time.

  • Love the sound of that big V-12 engine!

  • Damn, never seen Shipley get down Snort style.

  • I had to turn my speakers to full blast for that one!

  • I love this plane just listen its sound :)

  • Beautiful! I love the Merlin sound?
