  • when you look at something like that you'd never think it is all electric and it has a huge extension cord. its unwinding as it goes across the road.

  • Back in 2002 Me and my pareants whent to cadiz at ten pm to watch this and we were back in the mine on the ackse road and some guy in a bulldover tried to trow us out but some person who worked there let us stay R.I.P SILVER SPADE

  • ive actually seen the silver spade in person when i was in high school. my step-dad hauled coal out of that mine. these videos are a nice tribute but i cant put into words of the sheer size of the silver spade. i was there the day before they took it across 519 where it be scrapped a few years later. its a shame to see something with so much history go.
