That was absolute CRUELTY. Almost every episode was even better than the last, I loved this episode, this series, these characters, those plotlines to DEATH (I believed in Peter/Gloria from the first episode) and they CANCELLED IT D: That was horrible of them. Why'd they cancel it in the first place?! :( SO many questions.

It really is a shame the show was canceled. The ending is just so... argh! I want to know who Peter's real parents are. But even if his father wasn't his father, I think he's still Peter Kingdom. That's who he was raised as. Blood does not make a parent in any meaningful sense. The people who raised him and loved him are his parents.

Plenty of room for fanfiction, though. Thank you so much for uploading all of these, ivorykisses. You're a lovely individual.

Just saw the last episode andI think ITV made a mistake making the episodes this short- they begins and then its already over. Cant they just make them and twice as long but 4 episodes more so we all can live happy wtih our lives

Such a shame ITV cancelled the show after building such anticipation with the cliffhanger. It's an even greater shame that shows like The OC are left to run themselves into the ground while something like Kingdom is cancelled on a high. Ah well.

and all there-after was an add-on,

then this non-ending was due to a surprise cancellation of another season.

Season 4 doesn't look too likely, alas! According to Wikipedia, "At the press conference for the new series, Stephen Fry explained that due to the slow-down in advertising revenue that ITV has been experiencing, a fourth series would not be commissioned until 2010, if at all."
