So many things wrong this...even beyond the vocals. The acting was horrible and Maureen looked young enough to be Joanne's daughter. People (and yes by people I mean Idina and Tracie) have done so much more with it. They had so much more attitude...this wasn't even believable as far as acting goes. Individually they were good, but together they were awful. Towards the end it started getting painful especially when they sang together, terrible harmony. They should work on their chemistry. I started getting bored while they were singing. There was no passion they were just singing a song.

well these are the original broadway actors from RENT. Alot of the actors from the movie are the originals from Broadway. Idina is one of the Originals but Tracie ( joanne) isnt, however, she is better than the original.
