  • I think it is all really lovely, my bathroom slash laundry is smaller than yours and I really like it.I did some inexpensive funky things and it is really cool. You have a tub that is more than I have and lots of people have the shower over the tub .I grew up with a wee hand basin like that in our loo and it was fine. The bathroom had a much larger one but do we need that just to wipe our face and clean our teeth.

Enjoy what you have, it is clean , nicely tiled and looking lovely.

  • @00rickyo I had to get a tub for my Autistic daughter and I am disabled and need a shower as I can not get in and out of a bath. Had I had the luxury of fitting it out just for me there would be loads of room and no complaints. However this is a family bathroom so 4 of us have to be able to use it. I did explain that in the video and it was done as a humorous response to someone elses video about their tiny en suite.

  • thats actually really nice to be as tiny as it is. our bathroom is tiny and we have a tiny sink but its all old and nasty looking. if it wasnt an apartment id redo the bathroom.

  • @MistressOfDeath1029 If you rent it ask the landlord it can't hurt to try :0)

  • I can't believe that my bathroom is smaller!!!! But I have a big sink.

  • @Myownuniquestyle Really? How did you do it then? :0)

  • @BarrysDaughter The layout of our bathroom is different to yours, it is sort of Z shaped with the sink in the top part of the Z and the shower in the bottom part with the toilet wedged in-between... we have to squeeze between the shower and the sink to use the loo which is horrible though :-(

  • @Myownuniquestyle here's to a lotto win for us both :0).

  • oh wait just realised the shower screen, bummer!

  • @macpixi That is the problem and we need to open it to reach the taps, plus that space looks deceptively bigger than it actually is :0)

  • You should get a sink installed in the corner, left hand side of shower. That way it wont be in the road when you get in and out of the shower and you could have a larger sink, even a corner cupboard too!

  • It may be teeny but I LOVE the pretty blue tiles!

Besides, I could listen to you talk all day long!

    Love you Jools xoxoxoxxo

  • @lanaindiana LOL think my Hubby would beg to differ there lol Love you too :0) xxxxx

  • Yes, it's tiny but it is lovely, just the same.

I grew up with one bathroom for the parents and 8 kids. We really had to learn to "hurry up in there". I left home at 21 to get my own toilet and my own bedroom, and that's no joke!

As an adult...now 59... I've gone too far the other way. (I expect to downsize when I'm 65.) I now have 3 bathrooms for two of us. A bit too far in the other direction, what? Sometimes I think it's easier to share a bedroom than a bathroom!

    Michael, from...

  • @REDchairDIARIES LOL I agree Michael. It wouldn't be so bad if it was a bit bigger but we are never happy with what we have are we lol :0)

  • Whoa. Okay. That is TINY. You certainly win in that Teeny Bathroom War.. lmao. Wow. But it's cute! I like it.

  • @BalmaholicTV LOL thanks :0)

  • @fairyqueen300 Thanks hon but there are only 2 of you :0) xx

  • I really like the nice blue tiles, it brightens a truly small space. I agree on adding a tall skinny unit beside the tube for products.

Also agree with the possibility of moving hubs and kids to a different house ;). heehee. The sink really much be a booger to deal with.

I do like your down to earth videos.

  • @TeresaNC1 Thanks Teresa I have been looking for a unit but no joy so far and oh to be able to have a bathroom to myself sounds like heaven. The sink is truly awful lol

  • I stand humbled...actually I'm sitting because I was knocked over by how small that bathroom is! My closet is bigger! But I love the tiles. The first thing I would do to maximize the space is hang narrow floating shelves on the wall along the bath to put all the bath stuff on. And then I'd put a tall skinny wall unit on the wall beside the tub, or again more shelves for storage. And then I'd move the husand and kids to a new house so you could have that cute blue bath all to yourself!

  • @juliagoolia72 LOL told ya. I would love shelves on the walls but Hubby and son would keep knocking into them, when we had the shower unit I wanted to put up shelves and no matter where we tried they were in the way, They are both over 6 foot and just as wide!! I am looking for a little unit thingymebob for beside the bath but can't find any that small lol. :0)

  • Love those tiles just beatiful ! I think its cute and its nice and bright :)

  • @loriannlouise thank you very much :0)

  • Indeed small, but it looks nice and cute. :)

  • @TheKillerBurrito thank you hon xx

  • Yes you were right! It is a small bathroom and that sink must be a bloody nightmare! Always wanted an en suite and a walk in wardrobe like some of our American friends( we can only dream lol). Just want to say Jools that I love how totally down to earth and natural you are and I love your wicked sense of humour~ Lesley x

  • @blondiegirl0810 Awwwwwww thanks Lesley so sweet of you to say :0) We will have to keep praying for that lotto win for our closets and en suites :0)

  • It may be small but it's beautifully done. :-)

  • @chockycake1 Thank you very much :0)

  • So far as I am concerned you win!! LOL That little sink is dreadful! But the tile is lovely and it is bright in there because of the pretty windows :) xoxo Jan

  • @Catalina031 Yaaaaaaay lol it was brighter today when I put the shower curtain in the window, was a bin bag till we figured out what to do with it lol. :0)
