  • Hi! Friend

    A question?

where you bought the rear axle?

    Thank you !

  • @jaorsoftware The rear axle is actually a splined shaft made for a ATV. The free hubs you can find from any bike shop.

  • This would be amazing if you electrified the front wheels - You haave more than double the space of a normal bike to puut on 48V Lipo battery (lightweight battery $300 ) or 48v lead acid - 3 x as heavy doesnt last as long but only costs $60) and hub motors on the front - this would make it a go anywhere 4 wheel drive machine, Altho you would prob hv to prob lower the seat a bit for better balance.

  • i modified the rim and the rod on the other wheel of my trike, problem solved no extra maintenance to deal with later in the future

  • thats awesome gearing at the back its like a differential :P

  • @NguyenJamie

Yeah, it is a dual 50/50 torque splitter attached to two independent free hubs.

  • @mdogm69

I have the suspicion that this is not a differential.

I have already experimented this system in 1993 and it has a problem: the ratchetting are broken.
