  • Is it just me? Or did some of you have a laughing fit when herry fell and knocked down the flag?

  • I like the little girl's/puppet's voice.

  • i loved prairie dawns voice

  • I spotted Jerry Nelson's arm!

  • Nice pageant. I'd also like to see the one about the four seasons.

  • Me too!

  • It's up now, from Hugic2112.

  • Ah, cool! I'll check it out.

  • Cool I love this

  • where is she having these? why did she quit having them?

  • he does not

  • I love watching the monsters try to eat the human muppets

  • I LOVE Prairie Dawn's pageants! Thanks for posting this one!

  • Bert said "Gay" at 4:37

  • "Gay" is another name for happy.

  • "Well actually, I'm Ernie, you know--I'm not Bart at all, but in this play I'm pretending to be Bart because that's the way it was written..."

    "Ernie, what are you doing?!"

    Elsewhere:

"Well, actually, you know, my name's really Anthony--I'm not named Hannibal in real life, and I don't particularly enjoy the taste of human flesh, but you see, in this movie I'm pretending to be a psychopathic.....

  • Let's translate this into literal human terms:

So, we've got a little 7-year-old girl directing a play starring two boys about the same age, along with two guys in their early 20s. (Can you guess who's who? :)

The two guys in their 20s clearly don't have ambitious plans for the stage if they don't mind starring in children's plays. ;]

  • Well, she did do that 'healthy foods pagent' this season, so maybe we'll see more of those some time soon.

  • MUPPETEER SPOTTED: As Herry trips onto a flagpole, we can see his puppeteer's arm performing his arm.

  • Wow, I never noticed that!

  • One of my favorite Prairie Dawn pageants as a kid. (Couldn't Bert's brother Bart have reappeared to play the farmer, though? His jokester attitude would've added a bit of color to the script...)

  • brilliant.......always remember Bert as the flower...he looked so embarrased lol

  • And even now, I can picture Prairie and the gang taunting Bert (to be sung to the tune of the Singing Kettle (a Scottish children's band) song, "Tell Me A Story"):

    "Please play the part, Bert,

    Please play the part, Bert-

Please play the part, Bert, for which you were assigned.

You promised us you said you would,

You'll have to give in, 'cause it's for your own good-

    Please play the part, Bert,

    Please play the part, Bert-

Please play the part, Bert, for which you were assigned!"
