Jeez, people are so naive. Electric fences are not lethal. People hear electricity and immediately think of the electric chair. The goat is fine, will be fine, and will live a long time to tell the tale of the day he met the fence

@Zombiekiteh How is this cruel? They are well fed, in a safe environment and loved. These goats learn their boundaries quickly after being shocked once. I've been shocked by electric fences to keep horses away from the wood fence, it just feels unpleasant and doesn't hurt. Would you rather these goats roam freely and get killed by predators or get shocked once or twice and be safe?

hehehehe Maybe you want to make some more wires without any current on them in front of the electrical wires. Then the goat can see the fence better, and it is harder to break through without getting shocked. Then the goat doesn't get shocked every single time that he touches the fence. If you treat them well they are more then willing to stay at the same place.
