  • Great.I did that too on my channel

  • I am impressed!

    How did you do?

Is this an ultra crispy picture used as texture over a Blender / 3DStudio model + rendering???

  • A software called 3Dfication is the magic here. More details on the blog.

  • Awesome video. Just awesome!

  • Thanks a lot.

  • Hold on, you only have the first half of the moons cycle? O.o

I wish you had the full thing, unless this is a work in progress?

  • Maybe you look when still uploading the video. In the video the Moon gives a 180 degrees spin. Maybe next video I will try a 360 degrees cycle.

  • Yeah, I was hoping for 360, that makes a far more impressive visual effect.

Also, is this copyrighted or is it public domain?

I'm looking towards eventually making my channel fully public domain, especially after I get up to 1000 subscribers.

  • I do never copyright my videos (nor my music). A time ago I killed my ego. You may use freely ...

  • Wow, 1000 subscribers? These are a lot of them. Congratulations!

  • well I currently only have 800, so I'm still far off, but when I do, I'll try for partnership.

  • EPIC!!!

you need more fucking subscribers, the stuff you're getting is fantastic.

I don't get why you don't make more simulation videos anymore.

Also, this isn't around the moon, this is the moon going around us XD, yet from our perspective it looks pretty much the same. Thus the geocentric universe idea.

I'm guessing that you gave it the zoom in effect?

do you still have the footage without the zoom effect?

If so, could you upload it and may I use it?

  • Thanks a lot. I will post eventually new physical simulations, but right now I am busy doing a bit of astrophotography.

Actually it is a spacecraft going around the Moon, because, this perspective is impossible from the Earth.

  • If you need the footage without zoom, just write me an email at computerphysicslab gmail com and I will try to send it to you.
