  • roddick deserved this one so much more. also "sad" for federer that his historical 15. grand slam was one where he actually was not the better player on the field. he won through roddick's nerves and lack of experience in decisive moments of a slam final. of course, roger won't care in the end, he won fair. but i felt so bad for roddick, it seemed like the most important game of his career, his last chance for a slam, he played for his life and lost it. since then, his career has gone downhill.

  • The match was too close to say Roddick deserved to win IMO. It was going to be one or the other, and it happened to be Roddick that hit one too many errors at the wrong time. But he also choked on some big points that could have won him the match. He had numerous set points that he missed, if he hadn't of collapsed in the second set tiebreak when he was 6-2 up or something, I think Roddick would have won.

Federer's "15" suit was very arrogant and really disrespected Roddick though.

  • Last clip of this video with Roddick is so sad to watch and I'm not even a Roddick fan. :(

  • the commentator slightly got rogers comment wrong there ^^

  • i have always believed and i always will that Andy's performance was the best performance by a runner-up ever.

  • I think Federer was quite an asshole in this interview. He recounts how he lost in Wimbledon and came back and won. But he knows that Roddick also lost in Wimbledon against Federer before and came back this year and... lost again. I'm a fan of Roger but that was totally inappropriate.

  • @Krunkalunga Don't be so hard with the atheletes. They just played epic and emotional match and you can't expect them to always find the the right words in that situation - although one has to admit that Roddick was great even in this situation. But Roddick could be a comedian anway.

  • @Krunkalunga it was somewhat selfish, when roger said, ``i went through some rough ones as well´´, after just having won the french and his 15th major title and 5th wimbledon title, not the best choice of words and roger is usually a gentleman, but that wasn´t a very considerate thing to say, towards andy, who has lost to him at wimbedon 4 times, 3 finals and a semi, if im not wrong.

  • @l44c Thank you so much ;)

  • i felt so bad for roddick. he should have won this one

  • Pischtesau what's the song name?

  • Can anyone tell me about the song's name?

  • @Jimmyf4199 the song is 'My Name Is Lincoln' by Steve Jablonsky :)

  • Roddick played his heart out and he should be proud of that but i think the thing that killed him was watching Federer celebrate all those titles it makes me cry sometimes too becuase its just too tough to no that he just cant beat that guy and maybe its just not ment to be for him i always say if Federer is never born Andy Roddick is one of the Greatest Of All Time but hes not but you must respect him he deserves Wimbledon more than anybody and played his heart out like no other guy has ever

  • fucking fake pic!

  • look at roddick face...i really pity him..he is so dismayed at federer coz he has lost 4 finals against him...n throws everythin at him in matches but it still isnt enough

  • get rid of the music!!

  • that picture at the end is soooooooo fake lmao

  • Roger Federer 2003. 2004. 2005. 2006. 2007. 2009. Roger won

  • Federer has 15 slams. Roddick has one.

Therefore, their feelings are different. Federer wants to win more to keep adding to his collection. Roddick desperately wants another title other than the old and dusty 2003 US open on his shelf.

But Roger federer does know Roddick's feelings of losing. He lost many times in the French to Nadal, and Australian open, and cried on their last encounter in a grand slam. I don't think that he would coldly not understand Roddick's point of view.

  • yeah thats really true, i realized that about a week after i posted it and felt like a retard, i couldn't believe i had forgotten about rafa, feel free to spam me if yall want. Its well deserved

  • @bigboy543andkell Yeah but Roger has won so much more than Andy has he has more feelings of greatness and victory than Andy does. He has way more talent than he does. He may semi-understand it but he does not no how much Andy wants that Wimbledon wants 1 more GS.

  • i thought he meant that he knows how he felt because he knows what its like losing a grand slam final, i watched the trophy presentation of the australian open this year and roger just broke down in tears after losing the final to nadal.

  • Of course ROger knows how he feels. He's a professional player, he knows how it feels to lose since he lost to Nadal over 4 times. >.>

  • I love the fact that Roger won and broke the record at his most favorite event. However, my heart truly goes out to Andy. The guy played his heart out and left everything out there on the court and came up a bit short. That was a true heartache. He always has that sense of humor, but for the first time you could see the agony in his eyes just filled with sorrow and tears.I hope he wins Wimbledon someday. He has to.If there is justice, the Gods of tennis owe him that title. He is the new Ivanisevic.

  • Yeah, he is the best. This was an awesome final, and I'm gald Roger won, but I do feel really bad for Andy Roddick. He was amazing! I hope he wins Wimbledon some day, he deserves it.

Oh, and great video, by the way. :-) And excellent choice of music. Thanks for posting! Sorry I couldn't write this auf Deutsch. I'm an American and I only know a little bit of German.

  • roger federer ist der beste!!!!!!!
